I'd vote, but since I haven't been on yet, none of the three really apply to me.

Hi there! Nice paragraphs.

Welcome to the forums! Feel free to stay awhile, and if you need anything, as Ivory said, just ask one of us!

Not sure if that was sarcasm or if it was a true statement, too early for me to tell  :D . Regardless, I usually don't write huge things like that, figured since it was an introduction, I had a lot to say. Usually I'm a quiet person who keeps to himself most of the time.

Hey man, so you were MetalMan, eh?

FYI: I don't know why Protoman joined, but I like to drop in on all bot servers to see if anyone is on. This was the first time it turned into something with people.

I dunno, but when I saw him on it (as he was the first), I was surprised that someone actually joined when I was fooling around. Then we started talking a bit and eventually you showed up.

If you ask me, one of the cheap things (might not be a moment), is Metal Man's weakness. One can't truly utilize it until you fight the eight on the second round near the end of the game.

I hope most know what I am talking about.

Quick Boomerang was also one of his weaknesses.

I only really knew he's weak to his own weapon, never really bothered to know his other weaknesses as I usually went to him first before going to the others.

Refresh my memory if anyone recalls, doesn't the Metal Blade kill him in two hits?

As a matter of fact, was any robot like that?

I'm new here, so I'll modify this later when I've actually abused the hell out of this game and used to the people here

In Game Name: Majority of the time: Metalman (Been my gaming persona back in the late 90's)
Favorite game mode: Haven't played enough to decide yet
Favorite weapon: Metal Blades. Nah, anything that really works out well for me as I don't do well with certain ones.
Prefered skin: Oh I dunno...
Favorite stage: Haven't played enough to decide yet
Greatest Rival: Anyone with the Metal Blades, for it is my only weakness
Reputation: For now, a newbie to this actual game
anything else?: I'm just a normal person when it comes to FPS, I'm not the best, but I don't generally suck. I really could care less unless I'm in a raging mood (which usually isn't often)

Anything Goes / Introduction: EvilTux

Hello all! Where should I begin with this one...

I suppose I will start off by mentioning how AWESOME this game is. I wonder how the hell I haven't found this sooner. Being a man who was born and raised with the NES Saga, I am always quite the nostalgic person when it comes to gaming. It also helps that I've played the hell out of MM2 when I was growing up, was one of my favorites (only had and still have MM2 and MM3 for the original NES). When I somehow came across this game from a random chain of youtube videos, my first reaction was "what the hell?" Watched this one video and I instantly knew I have to check this out to see if it would be any good. Sure enough, I love it. Haven't played too much of the single player yet, only beat one and two, but still.

I was experimenting with my server box to see if it could support the multiplayer without an issue (old hardware, P4 at 2.8, 2gb RAM), as I suspect it shouldn't have an issue with the type of game it feels like. Had it up for about a week and seeing if any of my gamer friends from other games would pick up on this. Unfortunately no one seems to have, altho I see they have made comments on the video I've posted showing this game off. Tonight, I felt like playing a bit against the bots and get a feel for some of the maps, and to my surprise, some people started to join, which actually made me quite happy. I'm guessing that the first few people might have though there was others playing, but I only had bots at the time. Eventually I removed the bots and had around 7-8 people join, which actually made me feel good. I wish I got their names and see if I can see who they are on the forums, but they might pick up on me faster then I find them with this post.

Anyway, I plan to keep the server up at all times if anyone does want to join. If you want to directly join the server without looking at the server browser, just connect to jc104.dyndns.org. Granted my internet it not always the best at times, but if you want to see beforehand if the box is running, just type that link in your browser and you should get a page with things that's running on my system (along with other games that I have up for my other gamer friends, don't get me wrong I'm not advertising to join my server for those games, plus the minecraft server sucks due to my specs). Currently server is set to 25 frags, 10 minutes with bots on when it's dead. Unfortunately with my work schedule the way it is (8-5, M-F), I'm not sure if I would be able to remove said bots while in the office, but if I'm around and there's a decent crowd, I'll remove them when I can.

I'll try to browse these forums from time to time to see what's going on as I haven't been much of a forum person.
