My god why.
Super Metroid is Nintendo's greatest masterpiece. And they just ... ... they just try to make it look bad.
By the way. You can also circumvent the bomb blocks with some precise walljumps followed a mid-air-morph on the left side of that area. Not that easy, but certainly doable, I am sure I did it a few times out of boredom.
Or just infinite bomb-jump to the left passage. (also done, just for laughs)

See, there are about 3 ways to get past that point. That is what makes Super Metroid so great. Having choices that all just depend on your skill and creativity.
Another example would be early acquisition of Powerbombs (before you get Ice, by doing some expert-level walljumping) and Wavebeam (before you get Grapple Beam by doing beginner-level walljumping).

I got the Power Bombs, Super Missiles and Ice Beam before Kraid

Reidakk, that is literally the entire point of the mod.

As a Ghoul, you're supposed to stalk your foe and strike at the correct moment, like a monster in a monster movie.

As a Human, you're supposed to run for your life.

Yes. This.

The problem with that is that sometimes people hate the stalling and tend to either map vote or kick vote and I freaking hate that so I can exactly stalk my foe all the time without expecting them to do either, let alone hide somewhere to come up with any brilliant ideas.

I think we MIGHT solve this "this is OP and that's OP" issue if we made a map pack specifically made for GvH in which all the classes are not hindered by the map's topography which goes double for Jitterskull in Windman.

Pretty much every class is overpowered actually. It's just that Sjas and Yurei are two of the most notable ones. Also Sjas is annoying as heck, OP or not, to deal with.

On the humans side, the most OP has to go to Ghost Buster.

I don't think you clearly read what I wrote. Humans have long range weapons, the ghouls don't and they need to stick to you to hit you. With their advantage the human team can just run and shoot to keep the ghouls at bay.

I don't get why people whine about Sjas when humans theirselves are essentially overpowered. Some of them (like the marine) have near hitscan weapons and the ones that don't still get fast projectiles. The ghouls have the exact opposite and they have to stick to their targets like parasites to score a hit which leaves them vulnerable to the incoming bullet hell and they have to be in a constant dodging and see if they actually score a single hit before they die. Don't bother pointing me out how pretty much all of them have a 1HKO because humans can just stay away and spam their long range weapons all they want cause most probably their target is bound to die sooner or later. In a nutshell if you get killed by a ghoul spam harder.

I was playing roboenza tonight with Knux and some other guy named "Moussemaster man" on Cutman X and we had Eddie. Mine gave me Time stopper and when I go to the corner and knux gets chosen as alpha he gets near us and I use it. What I didn't know is that the other guy's violet coloring was that he also had Time stopper so when I used mine and it ran out he quickly used his own and Knux never got us.

So for those of you who have played Pokemon and Metroid Fusion here's a question: What do you get when you cross a Ditto and a X Parasite?

On a unrelated subject, one of my friends once said: "What if April Fools in itself was a joke itself as in it never really existed? Which means that the person or otherwise the people that made it would be able to 'fool' us every year even after death."

May i make a suggestion?
how about making two separate versions, one that will work with classes, and another that won't.
or make a compatibility patch.
i actually find it funner to play as a certain class.

and i've never had a problem with the moby moon party thing at all.
also, i think i like Cave's lemon storm, last time i checked, the person couldnt move when it was activated.
But i think the lemons need a reskin.
theyre too bright.

and give the seeman/seeldier duo a health nerf.
i believe its unfair to go against two full bosses.

I think that would be a suggestion best left for Quote and Curly.

Lol I see what you did there. Besides if you get stuck trying to know where to backtrack next you can always check the map or just leave the hint system on. Now that you mention Quadraxis when you're done with the game try to do the "Skip the item loss" sequence break (It's on youtube) so you can beat Quadraxis with the Varia Suit. Plus, you can also skip just about every boss in the game since you stick with the Boost Ball, Spider Ball, Missiles, Space Jump and Morph Ball bombs though you do not keep the Grapple Beam nor the Power Bombs despite the game saying they're taken from you so essentially you never really have em. As for the bosses skipping them equals you can come back later with advanced weaponry like the Annihilator Beam and the Power bombs or the missile combos because for some unexplained reason they were programmed to be hit by those weapons despite the fact that you do not have them when you fight any of those bosses.

I was playing Metroid Prime 2 today and I got to the Chykka, expecting it to pound my ass into the dirt several times.  I wound up beating it on the first try.  I then travelled to the Sanctuary Fortress and promptly got killed by five Pirate Commandos.

Something's not right here...

The second I saw the word 'Metroid' you said my magic word. You need help with that game you can ask me just about anything. I've run it normally and I've sequence broken it in so many ways I lost the count.

Now that I saw people mentioning Earthbound like 7 pages back. That'd be a pretty good investment though I already have it on SNES emulator, plus I can spam the rock candy glitch which is something that Paula verily much needs with that mediocre HP and perhaps Poo as well. Left it at Deep Darkness, since Poo leaves with his master last time I saw him he was at level 48 with 585 hp (That's even more than Ness currently has, last thing I need is that counter resetting if that sort of thing really happens) which I think might've been a little too excessive since well he IS still missing 52 levels  . Paula's level is 59 with 426 HP and 315 PP (I've created a monster!) and there's the chance that Ness might've also smoked some of that crack as well gotten a little bit of that for his HP which was quite unnecessary now that I think of it.

Also I discovered a funny message in Master Belch's factory if you go out and try to enter again :U

Walking to the entrance to my house and I see a huge mess of toys and other stuff and among them I found a Gamecube Wavebird controller I thought we had gotten rid of about 5 years ago  :). The only thing it's missing is the channel sync adapter and it'll be back to work.

After another check I found it. I thought I'd looked through them all but I missed one.
Why are they hosting the old hotfix all the time? Makes things unnecessarily confusing.

If I'm correct it's because the newer versions crash like WAY too much and by "WAY too much" I mean a lot. Last time it crashed me out and I got in the server and it crashed me out twice just as I joined each time. And since that happens it's better to host the older versions which do not crash or at least perhaps not as often as the new ones. :|
