Classic: I love the classic series. Strangely enough I started with the black sheep of the family (MM7) and worked my around in a strange order (I think 2, 3, 1 , 5, 4, 6). People crapped on Mega Man 7 but I love it to death (and consdiering it was the first Mega Man game I played growing up says alot). I always enjoy this series for the controls and classic nostalgia. I learned alot of what I did about the Mega Man Series in general from 2 and 3. I need to get my hands on 9 and 10 as I missed that ship. Thankfully a Second Mega Man Legacy Collection includes those.
X: This is were i spent most of my time. I loved the X series and put more time into and effort into this. Folks say this series was harder, but I found the classic series harder
Zero: I played this series when I was in my teen. Wasn't bad though It's lower on my list compared to the Classic series. The lore was definitely more instersting to me when compared to X or the classic series.
Legends: This is absolutely my favorite series. Not too sure why. Alot of RPG elements included as well as 3D done right. I will yearly go back and play Legends 1 and 2.
ZX: I thought ZX1 was great, ZXA disappointed me but I am not entirely sure why as the core mechanics for ZX and Zero series were there. I guess the whole concept of "Mega Men" sounded too cheesy for me.
