This might be just me but the cart might be better if it was just a very bit translucent (about 90% opaque or something). Since you have to stay very close to the cart for it to interact, sometimes, its sprite hides quite a bit your view, and you might want to see enemies through it

Good mod but you should polish the lazy things like the mega buster obit and mega buster hud into something else more fresh (a new hud).
Also have the +INVENTORY.IGNORESKILL flag on the ammo because the ammo sound plays 6 times when reloading, but you get the the ammo 2 by 2 because of doubleammo. Have this flag so it gives you the ammo 1 by 1.
Speaking of which, have the reloading time only reload the missing amount of bullets and not the 6 bullets every time.
That aside yeah this mod is simple and good by me

I believe Search Snake wasn't meant to be a weapon you use on frontal duel since it's slow it's predictable, but rather a stage crawling hazard that gets you frags eventually when you cover large areas with it (its damage is rather high for a ranged weapon with that much ammo).
A dizzy/"waving" pattern like if the snake was strafing would be nice imo.

This a kind of necrobump in a way but it would be still better than making a new thread.
Did anybody already made some 8-bit editions of the destroyable element containers in Mega Man Powered Up please? The blocs with a weapon icon on them, which tell you about which weapon to use to destroy them.
It's for a project that's going to be finished pretty soon.
I searched and saw NemZ did all the tilesets for PU, but I couldn't find these containers specifically

Here's my just my personnal thoughts on what's going on. Not going to insult anyone or anything, neither going to do some elitism stuff... in short, "mm8bdm" got used to some "standards". Pretty much, regarding game content, but mostly regarding who you are and what you've done around.
How it comes we now judge like that? Disregarding if you're just a regular player, a mapper, a codder, a "dev" or whatever name you could get from this game and feel so good for it, I feel like the casual, relaxing fun from playing (it's a game, just an essential reminder, this is basic stuff - Now I'm saying that but I really mean it, it's really what it's mainly supposed to be) turned into a depressive, hateful and obnoxious series of standards you've got to be accustomed. They've been defined over the years, unconsciously maybe, that'd explain why some people probably knew the idea, but didn't dare to actually say it straight.

As in, I'm sure some people have changed a lot since they started playing MM8BDM in the v2-3 era because of these standards that they built themselves upon (and yet, keep doing it.)

I agree with Bik when he's talking about being physically ill when thinking about some stuff going around here, it kind of happened to me for almost a year when I was fully dedicated to MM8BDM.
I'd say the solution is to take a say, 1-month break out of here, or even more if you feel like it. Really simple, but it's not meant to be hard to understand and apply. You should definitely feel actually better after retreating from all that. Why playing if you don't appreciate it? You should just not do it, after all.

It looks kind of simplistic as in, straightforward to the shooter part without any other extra bullshit, simple and clean, the graphics look monstreous too
also you can rip off the monsters' members after killing them, totally not like Mortal Kombat's fatalities.

Yet I'd buy a ps4 just for this.
