For quite some time now I've been suspicious of the servers running under "Best Ever" that appear in Doomseeker's server list. It feels like any server that doesn't host in BE is doomed to have a very low number of players at one time or none at all.

Personally, I never used BE, primarily for the sole fault I find it to have, aside from an over-the-top account setup process: The random automated "Server" announcements that are dumped out.

I think the Weapon Pellets and Weapon Capsules fuel up the Hales' Rage a little too quickly- It takes seven pellets or two capsules (or one capsule with two pellets) to reach a full Rage meter.

Still no luck in fixing Quote's Spur staying locked into firing low-charge shots, I see.

So I was thinking, Since Duo technically is considered the strongest but slowest of the classes (not being able to attack unless at a close range), could he have the Hard/Toad armor used in the Classes wads that gives him an additional 50% of HP? Or would that make him broken in contrast to the more mobile classes that can snipe from a large distance away?

IMO, a fully-charged Duo Fist doesn't do enough damage for it's own good.

With the amount of time it takes for each new release of MM8BDM, including reversions, I'd say it'd take until somewhere around late Spring of 2014 before the &Bass expansion would be completed and ready to release. The most we may see for something in Christmas is a v3C somewhere in December or Janruary.

This mode in my opinion is mostly just "Let Scrooge players race for Quote players to get rage and out-Moby everyone else". But it's still fun as heck.

Pellets would spawn on any surface that can be reached by players, so while it may look ugly, it'll be quite simple to implement.

I'm sorry if I didn't bring this up in detail in my previous post. Not every pellet on the board must be acquired; and the pellets that are collected re spawn. Think of something like the Sonic Rings from LMS Games, but they don't re spawn as fast. The pellet spawn is randomly generated based on the layout of the current map.

The other day while I was on the ever-so-popular Classes Saxton Hale server, me and the other players were discussing what new hales could be brought in. Aside form the usual suggestion for more ranged hales, we also were discussing a replacement for the no longer scary Slendercowardman. And the one thing that popped up was a hale where one would play as the infamous deformed humanoid monster from Ao Oni.

As for this one, I wanted to come up with a unique idea for a Hale, so I decided on this one: The Ghostly Quartet from Pac-Man.
