I only had a little hail today. Seems like winter is over where I live, at least for now.

I switched my desktop environment to KDE.

Unity is ugly anyways.
EDIT: I took the background from the game "Digital - A Love Story"

9/10 Suketoudara is pretty cool.

OT: Zero has more breast size than her even. Capcom somehow likes to make the males femaler in some ways (Zero's long blonde hair of awesomeness, Commander Yammark, Elpizo and more)
Actually, I remember having seen an article in a german magazine that was made before Megaman X got released. Apparently Zero is a beautiful reploid girl.

This post will be a little experiment, more or less.
This is an awesome track from the 3rd game in the Ys Series (To be precise: "Be Careful" from "Ys III: Wanderers from Ys" / "Ys: The Oath in Felghana") . I posted 7 versions on 7 different systems below, with a small comment to each one of them. I'd like to hear opinions.
Note: This track is played in the first dungeon, a quarry infested with monsters.

I know that feeling. I played Chrono Trigger DS, beat it, made a new game +, beat it with all the endings, made a new game + of that, leveled every character to ** and then I grinded for capsules so I can get optimal stats but I stopped when I got Marle's strength to **. I have not touched that game ever since. And I have yet to maximise Lucca's strength I think.
That file had 82 hours of playtime.

Also, New Super Mario Bros DS.
I am still kind of working on getting the maximum score. I think I am at about 59(I dont know the rest of the numbers) (out of 99999990 (not sure about the number of 9s)). I kind of worked on it a lot in the 2 years after I got that game. Now my little brother has it because I seriously played it to death. I wonder if it will ever reach maximum score.
Oh and the file is of course 100% completed.

And the SNES version is as high-pitched, but this time the bassline sucks too!

Sounds best.

Theme of Puyo Puyo should not sound like this.

It is still snowing where I live. And it first began back in November. I think I never had such a long winter.

EDIT: I erased something stupid I said about music on the snes.

But ... I hereby apologize for starting an argument about a very subjective topic. Let's just agree that KSS and KSSU sound different and that KSSU has more content.

Well, there are some SNES -> DS/GBA ports that did it right. Like the Super Mario Advance games, Link to the Past GBA and Chrono Trigger DS. They might not sound perfectly the same, but at least a lot closer than KSSU - KSS.
And as I said, I was talking about the music. If you like the gameplay/graphics/whatever of the remake more, feel free to play it as much as you want.

KSSU's music sounds like midi crap. Awful beyond belief. It should burn in a fire together with Sonic 1 on GBA and R-Type III GBA (those games also have incredibly ruined music because of bad porting).
Of course, if you dont value music, go ahead and play KSSU.
EDIT: Posted some of its music here: viewtopic.php?f=23&t=4965&p=226050#p226050

Even the enemies behave the same between versions. Paint Roller in Avalanche, Grounder in Mean Bean Machine and Witch in Puyo Puyo 1 all use the same strategy. So do Satan(PP), DeDeDe(KA) and Robotnik(MBM). Same with other characters.
The music in Mean Bean Machine is pretty awful in my opinion. It definitely sounds best in the Genesis version of Puyo Puyo (but it lacks so many voice clips). Voice acting is definitely best in Puyo Puyo CD (Unique voice clips for every character!!!), and the best graphics are in Super Puyo Puyo and Avalanche. Too bad that Puyo Puyo CD uses PSG+FM for the music and not Redbook or PCM ...
PPCD still remains my version of choice. For Puyo Puyo 2 on the other hand ... SNES version. All the way. Or the Arcade version in MAME.

I think it was a 7-chain, not sure.

EDIT: If this looks weird to you, it is Puyo Puyo CD, the imo best version of Puyo Puyo 1. Every Character has different voices for their chains which is why I love that version.
