I got the Game now
Well i didnt liked Minecraft but this shit is serious

The Best part about it, is , that everyone is still able to help making a even better game out of it.
Not just easy Mods with Visuals(Armors&other cute things) but Big Enhancements for Bigger Wars between Clans(serious stuff).
Or a proper Enhancement for Skills & Abilitys.

The Game is still Beta

So everyone could help making the Game better instead of just Modding it for the sake of a Modding section...
Like this the Community grows.
Modding is cool too just for adding One Armor you just have to add like a Megaman Armor or a Skyrim helmet if you just have to.
And if it is just a Costume it wouldnt bother anyone since you have a Tier Equip & Costume Inventory ( Instead of Godlike OP Weapons&Armors )

I nearly have no lagging experience and i see pretty much people having problems. thats Sad  :cry:
God Bless my Internet Provider  :lol:

If there should be a Cutstuff Community Server i would join, just to say :D

And i told him about Problems i ran over, while i was testing Skyboxes over and over.
I could have skipped the part how to make Skyboxes, just thought it would be usefull...

Well another sector directly above the Old main Sector it seems.
You have 2 Floors there thats why you wont be able to see the changes of the Floor under the Sector with Airman texture

Like 2 stacked Glasses or Cups, only the Terrain in the Glass makes you think its just one Glass.

For a Skybox you need:



The Walking Room:

Ceilling: F_SKY1   Just choose the texture, its just for this purpose.

Walls  : Line Special 9/ Line Horizon
Add this Line Special to any Level-ending-Wall in the Room your walking in.

Dont do this in your Skybox unless you want to do multiple skyboxes or you will just get
Painting 3D Models Flickering before a yellow background


 
The Skybox:

Just make another Room with a Skybox in it.
Thing ID 0  if you want a Single Skybox, anything else but 0 would need a Skybox Picker for it to make it work


Extras:

Everyone is trying to force us using Opengl for a good Reason
Opengl is choosen standard for MM8BDM & like this it should work Properly.
I played around much with Doom Builder and have to tell you :
Just delete the Skybox and Rework it, i encountered a problem after Playing around too much
that the Map+Skybox got broken, but i always have a Pre-Work map to import the same Stuff again(just a tipp)

It depends on which launcher you will use

Launcher

Zandronum + Doomseeker(recommended for Multiplayer)

MM8BDM Launcher(Single Player & Multiplayer)

You have to keep the Version up for Zandronum to be able to see new Contents of the Modders. (Bugfixes)
&IF you want to play Multiplayer you will need the same Files like the Server Admins use. (Never do Custom changes with the core files)

If you have Problems downloading via Doomseeker, try to add them yourself from Server Ressources into the
Main Hard Drive:user....doomseeker

I bet the Girls from the Community would want to make skins for that too. :D  & some Cake  :mrgreen:
And the Budds to some new items for the maps  OR  Neutral Bunny Monsters on the map.

MM8BDM.pk3 inherits every Map you want to have.
In this pk3 you will find more Wad/Pk3 with the Names of your beloved Robotmaster.
Extract them and after that they are ready to use for Doom Builder.

Try to use/find "SlumpEd".
With SlumpEd you can open WAD PK3 and ZIP too i think.

Just Download a Skin from the Community Resources and open it with SlumpEd, then in SlumpEd click at SKININFO.txt.

Now you will see something like this:

Just give it your Name or anything you want to call it
& sprite should be named like your Skinfiles first 4 letters : ZACM     maybe...

After that you go into the skin folder for the Pictures, select all files at once and Delete/Cut them.
Now the Folder is empty and you can Insert/Set your own ZACM Pictures.

Pls dont ask anyone to do it for you since everyone had to learn it by themselves.
I bet you want to Update your Files to be better or add more to it, it would be a butthurt if you had to ask someone else anytime .
You will have more fun with it for sure if you try learn more of it by yourself, its good if you find help for a Question, but you wont find much People on this Planet to jump up now and "just" do this for you.
If i would sit right next to you now, i wouldnt tell you much more.
You have to learn it, if you want to start modding :D.
Cant be that hard to do it, everyone before you were as stupid(we were) as you are now with new stuff like this.

This is PokeMMO you need a cartridge of Pokemon Blue or Red( GBA Version ) to play this Game.
the MMO is Based one the Game in the Cartridge you can Build your Character with Colors and different Hairstyles & Clothes.
Chat/-Duell/-Trade Systems work and the Pokemon are being gathered as always with all the Story in the Game.

I don't use extra skins (totally naked newest vanilla+ 1 mod)
The extensions were loaded from the servers because i didn't had em so Doomseeker got em, like it should be done for newcomers.
I didnt load the packages directly from the sources ( but Doomseeker did automatically )
its not the limit in masses for the Skins but its the limit of the Size of the Images (512x512 "x2,5seizing" random numbers)
I didn't look into the wad of mission mode directly now, but i think Duo, which is a bit larger then the rest, just gets a failure of being too big in resolution on par with the seizing in the scripting for the class ( Playerpawn>DUO ).

I even played around with the limits of Images Resolution & Seizing by myself for once. ( in Doom of course )
the failure would be :
Too big resolution  on par with the seizing     or
Too big Seizing      on par with the resolution
Its One failure with two conditions  seizing is false &/or resolution
this can happen in windows & ubuntu & etc too
it just looks like Mac + Zandronum have different limits

Zandronum could do something against that by increasing the limit for Seizing&resolution.
I don't even have an idea for a Solution.
Only Idea would be to decrease Duo“s Size in the class script. (like that, mac is in again but Duo gets smaller)
I would guess C++ would be the best solution here... ( more enhancements for doom he he he )

I am not even a Fan of Mac & i like to play on Windows the most but i wanted to create a Game by myself
and i would get the same problem with Mac OS like you do now...       xDDD ( not yet but it will )
I wouldn't wanted to skip the Gamers of the Mac community because:
#1 Mac nearly doesn't have any Games + Good Free to Play for Mac, easy to get new faces in here especially young gamers
#2 There are much Mac users around us now, which are just waiting for something like MM8BDM & doesnt use Bootcamp or Parallel Desktop.

It can even run on Android (Smartphone+TabletPC)  & i don't wanna skip this Part too...
Megaman with Android would be possible, because everything is pretty good limited (palettes, etc)
Retro Games became famous again and Doom is a pretty good platform depending its age.
Megaman would be pretty strong in the App Market as a EasyToGo Launcher. (Singleplayer + Multiplayer standalone)
Or an Customizable Flash Doom working for Browsers would run on the MM8BDM Homepage on "any System with Flash"
Like Playstation 4 and new Portable stuff. + Android is inventing a new Portable Console. I am telling too much here since its about Mac only now

Sorry for not mentioning the Version of everything in the first place like it should had been done.
I do properly the next time i should find something. + sry for my Bad english  :lol:

Not both at the same time...
Each one added for once alone with   IWAD:megagame &  MM8BDM.pk3
I wouldnt even try to mix Classes with Single Player Mission Mode on Windows, Linux or Mac
I just added that the Classes mod have the same Problems with the Size limit

The mentioned version is mmspsin-v1d.pk3
Well good i know about this feature problem, like this i can avoid it...
And i think  MM8BDM wasnt even mentioned to be played on mac

but if yes ,this may be a problem  :lol:
Too Bad no Mission Mode for V4 because of mac  :roll:

I just recently installed MM8BDM on a Mac for some testings and tried all of the Custom Wad Expansions
Classes  &  Single Player Mission Mode (mmspsin-v1d.pk3) , both won't start
Some Skins in this wad are having problems with sizing“s especially Duo (old limit problem)
For some Reason Mac“s Zandronum doesn't support the already added extras
I hope i happen to be the only one with this Problem

Maybe you need to ask around to solve this.
