Impossible sight these days...
A CLASSES SH server with barely any players.
Historical moment: For once, Classes Saxton sucked big time.

And Best-Ever did a server kill yet again, for updates.
So both servers, and all the others are now down.

Anything Goes / Toad Day 2014
« on: August 21, 2013, 04:23:59 PM »
August 21 is apparently the Cutstuffian holiday of Toad Day.

A holiday where people settle down, unwind and take a break from the regular conventions of MM8BDM and Cutstuffery to celebrate the warmth and kindness of Toad Man, who has done nothing for anyone besides make it rain yellow pixel stuff.

We relish in our toad-related shenanigans, fanaticism and extremism.

Changing your user icons/in-game skins/in-game aliases into Toad-related stuff, hosting servers where the goal is all toad-based, creating mods based mostly on Toad Man, plus many other shenanigans.

2013: Toad refugees went to the Classes SH server and started to become a Toad Army that spammed Toad Puns and other Toad Man related stuff. Where we devoted our lives against the enemy of the Toad Revoution, the Hales (and Snake Man). Some screenshots have been posted.

2014: Nothing happened. Nobody cares anymore. Toad Day was a one-off thing. It's dead.

Cutstuff Discussion and Feedback / Re: Cyberbullies
« on: August 21, 2013, 11:22:48 AM »
It's the stuff that just ruins an otherwise great community. I don't give much of a damn about bullies or trolls, but since there's an ignore function, I don't want to use it, because I want to know what other stupid thing they are going to say is (directed at me or otherwise). Isn't it weird of me to do that?

By the way Megaman94, what's your in-game-name now?

And something else:
Quote from: "Bokan"
Just now i left a Server completely filled with these so called Cyberbullies, they arent just a nuissance they pretty much are 20% of the people coming in and out and directly start doing theyr stuff :

Kick innocent players which even didnt say a word + insult disrespectly everyone + press Yes for any vote....

already known players like always "awesome dan" "glatzy" " magickarp" and many more ( Crasgers Server )
i bet the perma Ban list is just exploding with theyr names because they show up again and again and again

Maybe it would be better for all effort that Cutman put into this, to save this Community from this Bullies with more but a Ban.
They keep on doing day for day.
Sorry for not banning those guys, anyway, when my server went down, those guys disappeared.

General Gaming Discussion / Re: Video Game songs you love
« on: August 21, 2013, 11:00:24 AM »
I'm gonna enjoy posting this.

EarthBound: Smiles and Tears
Perfect ending song to a game with great music.
(click to show/hide)

Mother 3: Master Pokey's Theme
This guy was a pain to defeat.
(click to show/hide)

Mega Man 10: Wily Machine
The perfect music to the 2nd to the (possibly) last battle (ever) with Dr. Wily. Since Inafune left Capcom, I don't think there will be another Mega Man game. MM10's ending does seem appropriate for the story line to shift to the story of Mega Man X.

Alien Hominid: Area 51 (Map 3)
I only played the GBA version, and this was the only theme that it had for Area 51, I liked how it sounded, and this game was pretty good.
(click to show/hide)

Super Meat Boy: The Rapture (Dark World [PC])
This was the Dark World theme they had for the PC version of Super Meat Boy. I always wanted to play this game, and listening to the soundtrack just made me want it more. This song just gets you pumped for the Dark World of the 3rd to the last Chapter.

Anything Goes / Re: Where did you get your name?
« on: August 21, 2013, 10:34:55 AM »
I used to go with the name of Flashman in this game, then I decided to change it by renaming myself TheFlashedCrasher, after 2 of my favorite Robot Masters. I misspelled it, and used the "Crasger" part of my name, it sounded pretty nice.
I added the "Dr." when playing Rage Roboenza but never usually removed it after that.

Mega Man Discussion / Re: Megaman Unlimited

The reason I complain about MMU is because the stages drag out for much longer than your average Mega Man game. (NemZ and I counted averages. MMU is about 10 screens longer than an average stage) and the checkpoints are not changed to reflect this, causing many stages to drag out much longer than they need to, combine that with instant death things everywhere (Every stage has spikes in it. Every Stage. Why would you need this) a really poorly done rush jet segment, and some brutal damage output (I don't care how easy his pattern can be, Glue Man should NOT deal 8 contact damage) and you got a problem on your hands.
Like you can memorize it and that's great, but even MM9 wasn't so heavy on the instant death

Indeed: the Glue Man, the spikes and the checkpoints.
Even Easy mode was done lazily.
It was more of a disappointment with the level design.

But in retrospect, after being defeated 11 times, doesn't Dr. Wily need to fortify his bases? But gameplay-wise, its not a that good of game at all.

Seriously, making us wait that long, and making the levels so hard and kind of unfair that we might finish in the same amount of time MegaPhilX finally released this game is just sadistic. But I guess this answers some requests of Mega Man players out there who want a better challenge, you know after playing 10 official games and maybe other fan games that can be finished in an day or two,
don't you think you'd want a challenge that drags on? Unfortunately, I am not one of those people.

Well, after waiting, I got it weeks ago, and I've noticed his level design is sadistic, it looks like it was made specifically to get you to buy E-Tanks and those Shock Protection shoes. Then again, it might be because I'm not exactly the best platformer player, ever.

The music was good, it made me want to play the game even more.
The story is sort-of original, and the identity of the Final Boss should be kept secret.
It manages to look like an actual Mega Man game.

Help & Editing / Re: Help with Doom Builder
« on: August 21, 2013, 10:01:45 AM »
Here are some things:
Teleporters: Make 4 linedefs facing out (Teleporter A) (filp them[Press F while selecting a linedef]) with all of them having the function of WR Teleport. Tag the linedefs, then tag another sector with the same properties as Tele A to the same number, but Tele B's linedef tags are different, those lindefs are tagged to sector Tele A and add the thing: Teleport Destination inside both of the sectors.

Adding Springs: I think those are thing types.

Water: There's a topic about that here: http://cutstuff.net/forum/viewtopic.php?f=27&t=1920

I don't know about the others. If you need some more help search for Doombuilder tutorials on YouTube or something.

I thought you wanted to be Dr. Crasger, but that works too.

Oh okay, you changed it.

I just think Dr. Crasger always sounded nicer because I always knew you by that.

Interesting fact about the name Crasger...
I used to play as "Flashman" but I wanted to change it for obvious reasons.
I got it by misspelling: 'The Flashed Crasher' (that name came from 2 of my favorite Robot Masters)
I liked how Crasger sounded, then I got the "Dr." from Rage Roboenza.

If "Dr. Crasger" was a character or something, he would look like a Sniper Joe wearing Heat Man's armor.

Anything Goes / Merging Doom with MM8BDM
« on: June 07, 2013, 03:41:52 AM »
I was bored one day, so I decided to Mod Zandronum with the MM8BDM pk3 and to load Doom, the result was unsightly.

The game was playable, a bit buggy, and the color palette was crazy. I don't even understand the TMNT tiles...
Seeing how Doom looks I noticed what CutmanMike had to do in order for the game to actually look like Mega Man, as the color palette is wrong in Doom, all brown colors are now blue, so that Mega Man won't be brown, like Doomguy.

I actually started a Doom server to test it out even further.
I don't even know if this topic should be on this forum.
