Back when I first joined, I was just starting to teach myself how not to act like a complete idiot while on the internet. In fact, in order to not be seen as an idiot, I purposefully typed my posts in a way that, looking back on it about a year later, felt pretty much robotic. However, I eventually started to stop acting like that, and it felt like being here was starting to improve my life. However, while playing on an MM8BDM server one day, one of the people playing there, in short, said that I was a bad Spriter. This was pretty devastating since I had been dedicated most of my free time into Spriting, and combined with the fact that the other thing I loved to do, Roleplaying, was something that I couldn't really do in MM8BDM often (Heck, the last time I remember roleplaying in the game was a huge roleplay at a Hotel server, where I was mainly playing as Heatman and Quint, as well as a few others), caused me to decide to leave the game- and the community for a while. When I eventually came back, I had improved my spriting overall, although it didn't really matter, as I was focusing on socializing with everyone else here.
(The thing about there being like no roleplaying in 8BDM ever still bothers me a little, although I can't get my game to connect to servers so it doesn't really matter much anyways)
