Generic Black Mage shopkeeper is generic. Also, he's going to be one of the main characters later on.

Also, I tried to improve the text bubbles this time around. not quite sure how to do them yet, but meh.

I know that feel, bro. the dog that my family has owned since before I was born died last year...

Also, I made a group shot of some Megaman-styled sprites of 4 of 6 possible class choices in FF1.

I've also started work on Thief (although I'm not sure whether to design his sprites after the original NES/Famicom version's sprites, or the newer design seen in most ports of the game), and I have a decent amount of Black Mage sprites with the robes from the games, I just decided to picture the variant I made, which I'm probably going to use more, as well as it being easier to edit into game-accurate versions than it is to do so the other way around.

On a less depressing note, I downloaded the PSP remake of Final Fantasy III. My party's jobs are currently set up to match the opening FMV's portrayal. It's working surprisingly well, although I'm stuck on the Tower of Owen, since by the time I reach the boss there, at least half of my party is silenced. And since Luneth is the only one who doesn't need magic to put up some decent damage, I die rather quickly. I'm going to try stocking up on as many Echo drops and Pheonix downs as possible, then try again.
