Chaos is totally right.
I have been using Game Maker and learning the basics of game making since I was like eight. I actually can't even remember its been so long.
In that time, I have NEVER posted ANYWHERE that I was working on a massive game project or that I needed help with it or whatever. I've messed with Game Maker, working on various projects to learn the program before I even consider it.
Now I've reached the point where I'm pretty good with Game Maker, including coding, spriting, etc. As such, I've started work on bigger projects. Once again, though, I still won't share these projects until I have something pretty decent to show for them.
When that time comes, of course, I hope I can get more help to speed the process up. But if not, I feel I'm experienced enough that if I kept at it, I could actually get these projects done.
