The only reason you're saying two-hit Gilgamesh is bad is because for some reason or another someone decided to keep the slow-as-balls firing rate from the other Hales and their OHKO attacks.

If he had a realistic attack speed I guarantee you'd all be crying about how OP he is. :ugeek:

Is it just me, or is Gilgamesh not even 2HKO sometimes? Don't know if it was partial hits or what, but on a 1 on 1 Saxton Hale match my opponent survived 4 slashes before finally going down (I saw the pain animation). Think about it, if a direct Morshu bomb can kill, why can't a close range Excalibur slice? I'm personally more concerned about the damage output than the firing rate, but a higher firing rate is the least we can do to make him viable in my opinion.

I thought steam cooking was a legitimate way to cook underwater creatures such as fish? (I'm a vegetarian, don't quote me on that). I mean, it's called wave burner, which implies it's purpose is to burn waves, right?

. I'm taking my first AP class next year (AP Human Geography). Any tips/suggestions/advice/(this is way too hard for a Nacho) type stuff for me? Especially Daveris, you seem to have that down pretty well  .

Ohey, I'm back from Disney Worl-. But seriously, that's not important or intresting enough.

The point being is that I'm still alive.

I feel you, man. Disney for me was fun last month, but the price I paid for it was painful. Since I went with my school, everything had to be done in the most "efficient" way possible, which meant maybe 1 or 2 breaks of 5 minutes throughout the day, no chance to energize our selves back at the hotel, and about 5 hours of sleep per night. I had physical and psychological blisters at the end of that, although I did get to experience (almost) all the rides.

I'd like to request a user class. There are LOTS of specifications and stuff that might be too much, but after seeing the lack of details in many other users' classes, I tried to be as specific and clear as I could. It would mean a lot to me to actually have my very own, personalized representation in this unique project.  :D

EDIT: To clarify, the armor greater than 1 shows how much damage I take, not how much resistance I have, so 1.2 would mean I take more damage than usual.

Mind=Blown at the image. I always knew all these weapons, actors, maps, etc. took a long time, but over 1 year? Wow. I see what you're saying; many people might get bored and new players in the community might think it's dead. Makes sense in that case, although I feel bad I have absolutely no programming skills to contribute to this project.  :(

Another notion for CHAOS_FANTAZY's cited musical track.

You'll have to wait and see for the official announcement. Just don't expect it any time soon because v3b comes first.

Chronologically this is obviously the logical way to handle it, but is there really any hype for v3b? I mean, wouldn't most be more satisfied with the time allocated to v3b instead placed in v4a development and new content?

EDIT: Ah, I see forte. Thanks for the clarification.

If you are hitting the right one you'll see his HP dropping. Just saying.

True, but it's crucial to know which weapon to initially hit with (whether a powerful weapon is worth the risk in terms of the reward of a potential frag), because once you hit them one time, they've noticed you and are probably on their way to punch the circuit boards out of you.

Sorry if this is an ignorant question, but who exactly will any given player be playing as in this game? Little Mac, a Gemini Bro, or is it something else? I ask because this is a really cool project and you've definitely captured my interest.  ;)

NES. I can inflict damage on him, and knock him down.. But he keeps on getting up, and the Honda Combo is freaking irritating to dodge.

Remember to never punch him when he's doing the combo right after he raises his eyebrows. Wait until he misses an uppercut and then high punch him four times (I find Right-Right-Left-Right works best). The key to beating him is timing a right gut punch as soon as he begins the combo in which he backs up on the mat (away from you and Mario) to attempt the Hondo Combo. Ideally, the gut punch command should be input as soon as he begins his lunge from the back of the mat. If everything goes well, you should be able to KO him at that, but if you can secure two Hondo Combo interruptions, you're golden. Don't worry, you can do it  :).  If you absolutely can't get the timing down, I'll be happy to help you come up with an alternative strategy. Good luck!

I made the decision in the overhaul to go back to Geminimen because I thought it was the ideal robot master for the Seemen until they have their own skins. I did not see why the Seemen were Burst Man and Napalm Man in r5. As for the color translations...unless some miracle happens, do not expect it to get fixed, as methods to create proper translations that work normally do not here. If anything, I got more confused personally with a blue Burst Man/Napalm Man than I did with a blue Gemini Man.

Perhaps the confusion arose from the fact that none of us were used to Burst/Napalm and, given some more time, we would have found the Gemini Bros confusing instead. In other words, the confusion in question may have been a case of correlation rather than causation (the old saying: correlation does not imply causation). Since the color glitch isn't going away, it seems illogical to not differentiate them at all. I mean, if one Seeman is almost dead, you'd rather go after him than the healthy Seeman, right? So, in my opinion, we shouldn't have to run after the injured Seeman in a wild goose chase, but rather know let whoever runs into the injured Seeman take him out. Several times before, I've had to guess whether the Seeman I'm wildly blasting is the correct one (I rarely guess correctly...), whereas I could previously know which is which and choose the correct weapon and strategy for the kill.

The voice acting in X6 is overlooked. It's quite good compared to the usual Megaman voice acting we got at the time.

I'm thankful that they didn't dub it.

I'm just curious on your perspective on this:
Do you know Japanese or do you just like the way they talk? Like, I see how you can sense the drama in the voice actors' voices, but doesn't it lose meaning when you have no idea what they're saying? I personally believe X4 voice acting got WAY too much hate. I mean, it wasn't as good as X8 or anything, but for the time it wasn't THAT bad and I consider it underrated just for all the jokes made of it (WHAT AM I FIGHTING FOR?!?!?!).

Oh, believe me, I've long since given up on Saxton Hale Classes and hate it to no end (despite it being painfully popular). Most people, however probably play Classes for two reasons:

1. The advantage abuse you mentioned.

2. The variety you get (adding a bunch of variables for a fresh kind of game each time).

I know how frustrating it is to have Quickmen, Gyromen, and Shadowmen on the Hale like Auto on a spare bolt, but I'm afraid that without either of these motives to play, people might be scared off of Classes forever, which would be quite sad considering how much potential it has. Many new players especially in this community tend to play one round and judge the entire game on it. If these new players don't like vanilla, their first alternative is often Classes. I know several people that stayed on MM8BDM just because of "that amazing feeling when you get when you first play as Quickman and blast the daylights out of somebody."
