Saxton Hale is out of place. You see it in the name, you see it in the characters, you see it in the gameplay. We can do just so much about the gameplay for the sake of differentiation and adaptation to MM8BDM, but it's really easy to integrate the superboss concept to MM8BDM just through simple theming. Change the name of the mod, and adapt the current superboss roster to Classic Mega Man characters.

We can help shape the future of the playerbase if we focus the superboss creation to just Classic Mega Man characters. Not only that, but we can then contemplate an integration of said playerbase to the actual MM8BDM playerbase, and then the Cutstuff community. Make things blend together by conditionating the playerbase input on the development of the modification.

The easiest way to do it is this: If the suggested superboss is not a Classic Mega Man series character, forget about it being added.

Aww, can we just make it Mega Man specific, instead of Mega Man Classic. I finished my Omega Zero hale and really want to see it get used.

Also, I think classes blocker wouldn't do much harm, it would simply make the classes fanbase either try Vanilla again or go to the Hotel server, however, I'm not sure I want a classes blocker as much as I thought I did, I may hate YD classes (with the exception of Bass, Drill, Knight, Metal, and Shade), but I think that maybe other class packs might be more fun with Saxton Hale than YD Classes were, mod developers just need to try a bit more, which I'd very much like to see. Though, I have no actual issue with classes blocker and it actually is a happy thought for me to see YD classes to never fight a hale again.

That actually sounds interesting, maybe someone should do that then, but I won't since I'm currently working on original mods for MM8BDM, attempting to master ACS, and have homework piling up. So I'm busy as it is. Where do I keep finding time to even play Doom 2, Hexen, and MM8BDM? Anyways, I wonder who will try to use that idea, if any at all.

You also got some REALLY low armor there, also that spread rune would be A) Hard to get to cause of low armor. B) Probably permanent, so ab-usable (unless done like DM1 in classes).

Well, any flaws in the idea that would make it too OP or wouldn't work well with the other parts can just be edited or removed. If it does get accepted, maybe I should change the idea a little so the rapid fire is something like.............IDK, some fire based attack? Maybe the sword could, well, I don't know how to make it non-generic, I just like melee attacks and such, so yeah...... -edits last comment to fit new idea- Also, yeah, spread rune would probably be abusable, but it's not like other class packs didn't have abusable flaws Ex: You can easily telefrag many people as Drill Man in YD classes due to the way he stays underground making him rapidly teleport back and forth on two way portals

That said, teamkilling is one of the lowest forms of trolling. Telefrags are one of the most rage-inducing ways to kill someone, even if it does get a good laugh from everyone but the victim. I put Alex under my rivals because it always seems to be you when something like that happens. I seem to recall one or two accidental instances where this happened when you used an Exit Unit and spawned on me. Made me want to beat my head against the wall.

Don't take it personally, I have a tendency to get riled up while playing teamgames. Nothing against you.

... just be thankful that 8BDM doesn't support mic chat.

Also, I never telefrag with exit unit on accident, I just try to keep track of where people are and use it at the right time, or if Inf Inventory is on, I'll just spam exit unit the whole time
