You should be able to use any old image editor to create a sprite sheet.
Many people just use MSPaint

What specifically are you having trouble with?
If you're trying to make a new skin, you just have to make all of the frames yourself.

I proposed changing various graphics to account for limitations during v5 development.
It was shot down by Mike then and when you suggested it earlier.

It's safe to say we won't be doing this.

Closed / [Sprites] New Swordman Skin

So if I'm going to be perfectly honest, the current Swordman skin is awful.
He's enormous - the tallest skin in the game by a long shot! -, his coloring is weird and doesn't really reflect the original design, and the overall quality of the original sprite is fairly low.
So I made a new base sprite.

In general I think my version is an improvement, but I don't think it's as good as it could be - particularly, I think the front head is pretty meh.
Because of that, and issues raised with suddenly changing skins in the past, I'm making a thread to get a general opinion on it much like we did with Maestro.
Let me know what you think, and feel free to make any alterations you want.

I'd like to try to use more underwater textures for maps like coldman and aquaman, but we may not use your exact tiles. Lots of fiddling to be done with palettes.

Just make a thing and when you set its sprite, make sure that sprite has rotations.

So, for example, AFRO A -1 would make a statue look like Frostman, who has rotations.

Thank you to everyone who contributed! The new maps and skins are all pretty good I believe, and the refined selection of previous maps and skins should be a bit higher in quality than before.
If your map or skin was cut, then don't worry! You can always tweak it and submit it at any time!

Enjoy playing, guys! It was fun to put together, and here's hoping it's played for longer than a week.

The return of Snowball Fight from the original Mega Holiday Pack!
The gameplay is mostly the same with some alterations to the snowball projectile and graphics.
The main difference comes from the ability to use it in any mode, not requiring buckshot to work.
Instead, you simply need to set the svar nbc_snowballfight to 1 and there you go! Next round, you'll be chucking snowballs at each other.
It pretty much just replaces your megabuster, so you can still throw Super Arms and whatnot at each other if you want, but for maximum effect play it in LMS or other weapon token-less modes.

Also, it theoretically causes no compatibility issues, so you can still load the mappack with classes or other gameplay mods!
