If so, you would want to create a 3D Floor, give it a sector tag, and use Floor_RaiseByValue, and Ceiling_RaiseByValue in a separate open script.
Basing off of your last question asking how to make a snowboard stop working, I would assume you would end up using multiple scripts, so make sure each number is different.


i didnt mean as a 3d floor. i meant as a regular floor.

yea, but maybe its because i had it set to map 1.


actually i just figured out what i did wrong, i had the line facing inwards, not outwards >_<

yea. i have a problem, when ever i try to start a server with this mod, i get an error message that says "script error, "qbox-v2q.wad:DECORATE" Line 100: Replaced type "possesionstone2' not found in possesionstoneQbox

ok, i tried that and it didnt work.

here's the script i'm using

i made it so if the player bumped into a wall it would exicute, but its not.

you see i'm making a city escape map for my SA2 map pack, so far i'm the only one working on it.


but i have this idea for a snowboard thing in the center, but i cant figure out how to make them explode so you're forced to get off them.


if anyone could help me out i would appreciate it :3

hey guys, i had an idea today. i was singing the lyrics to sonic adventure 2's city escape when it hit me! There needs to be a sonic adventure 2 map pack! featureing all the levels from all 3 stories of sonic adventure 2 including boss maps (some of them are small so i plan to expand on those).

now i bet your asking "what can i do to help?" well, here's what i need.

-mappers
-someone to make 8 bit versions of the songs from SA2
-someone to make new entities for maps (such as the robot "bigfoot" from the first boss fight in sonic's story to chill in the background of the first "boss" map)
-scripters to make some cool map gimmicks.
-and people who know their way around audacity to make the map music loop properly. (i'd do it but thats alot of songs to edit.)

aaand thats it.

if you are willing to help, feel free to post in this thread for what position you need.

also if you choose to be one of the people to make 8 bit versions of the songs, please add me on skype. my skype name is "BlackHoleDragon" and if that doesnt work try "catbug 3", i will need skype so i can judge the songs and give advice on what needs to be improved.

Help & Editing / how to add custom textures into doom builder

i know i'm asking alot of questions on this board and i apologise, but i'm still fairly new to doom builder and there are still some things i dont know.

with that in mind, i have a problem. i need custom textures in my map but when i tried to put it in the wad, it didnt show up in doom builder.

the reason i put it in the wad is because i looked at an example from blue bomber bed and breakfast, and in that wad. all his custom textures were in the wad.

so i tried to do that as well but it didnt work.

if anyone would help me out i would appreciate it.

i'm making a map for the 2013 halloween mapping contest and theres an area with yoku blocks, only problem, i dont know how to script them.
