Mega Man Discussion / Re: Mega Man Legends 3 cancelled

Which is probably why this happened. Just like Mega Man Universe, Inafune took a gamble to have teams develop the projects and hope that fan support would keep the games alive, with the higher ups at Capcom unable to cancel them in fear of any backlash.

Looks like the gamble lost though.
God, I hope that with any luck, the backlash will come back for its rightful due. They've certainly gotten the storm for it!

Oh, and my friend says 4chan /b/ is planning something. :P

I'm fairly sure he did. While I'm not too big on research, it wouldn't surprise me to see he had ties to almost anything Mega Man at Capcom when he worked there!

You know when I appear, it's got to be a big deal! :D

EDIT: And yeah, Kapus, I agree. Back on MMFF Musashi summed it up nicely. (swear warning)

And my day was already going so good before I saw this. :P

I am just at a loss for words. I love the Legends games and everything about them, certainly thousands shared my interest! Press Start, I sincerely apologize for you, since you have more appreciation for anything Mega Man than I could ever grasp, and I'd seen your support on the blog too. As I've said on MMFF, I hope sites like this keep the Blue Bomber alive, cause currently Capcom's not doing a good job about it. :<

Hey look, it's Zero again!

I'd like to think I helped, even though I have absolutely no medals to show for myself! I've been in Cutstuff for well over a year, have been supporting MM8BDM since the early Alpha Stages.
Due to college, I never had the time contribute. Except for attempting Enker's Skin.

Though I'm currently almost done a CTF Map, so yeah.
As well as providing general help for the new comers. Since I've been with Doom and Skulltag for so long, might as well put that experience to good use.
Haha, yeah, my point exactly. Even if it's not in raw work such as skins or maps or whatever, all the forum feedback and support's been essential for Cutman to help make the game. Plus, all the friendly faces are able to help even more help expand the 8BDM project.

When we're told from the original post to thank everyone who helped, we may as well literally thank everyone here!

Looks like the amount of 6 or so skins I did isn't so small after all! :P

BUUUUUT that's not what really matters, is it haha. Point is, alot of people helped, be it little or small. It wasn't just us folks with that dandy Megaman badge who helped ol' Cutman, but a bunch of people, and we see what a great product we got from it all!

Haha, it's no problem, everyone here appreciates the kind words. We had just as much (...okay, not as much, to say) fun putting this thing together, I'm glad you enjoy it!

Boy, tough call here. Honestly, I fell in love with your second one (perhaps because I've listened to the original version so much, a remix is a nice change of pace), but I feel that if you really want a more authentic NES sound, the 2a03 is the way to go.

I was playing it constantly during the release weekend, but now that's slowed down so I can continue work on skins for the expansions.

Yeah, in no offense, you should start trying to sprite them first. Once you have attempted, then you can start asking others for assistance. Not even giving it a whirl doesn't help alot!

Tutorial Collection / Re: [TUTORIAL] Creating new skins for MM8BDM
« on: October 17, 2010, 04:33:59 PM »
I wouldn't see why not! The things about custom skins is, like in games such as TF2, they're meant to maximize the personal enjoyment of the game of the player. If you want to see Phoenix Wright in 8BDM, there's nothing stopping you!
