@Korby:  Thank you for the information -- Wilco. (Will Comply)

@Kapus:  Thank you for the welcome!  Also, if telling it to stop clawing at your eyes doesn't work, try "sudo stop" instead.

It was actually already at /home/kaiemahi/MM8BDM which it has sufficient permissions to screw around in (I think).  Also, I tend to use gedit unless I'm in a tty.

@*: Question:

Is there anywhere I can publicise my console configurations for people to refine and try for themselves?

@Korby:
Well, you see, in TF2, the console binding has a very similar syntax.  However, the eval command and test command should make things a lot more intredasting. (interesting)  Thank you!

@Ceridran:
Thank you.

@*Alice:
Actually, I literally /just/ solved a multiplayer problem by running Doomseeker as root because it didn't have permission to download files into whatever directory WADseeker queued the downloads to, and I didn't feel like finding it.  So now I'm just copying my configs for my actual username to root's configs.  Thank you!

Hello.

I am OGsus.

My name stands for "Original Gangsters?  Us.", and is pronounced "Oh, Jesus... -.-"

I am currently running Linux Mint 15, Cinnamon Interface, and am a somewhat decent:
Programmer {Java, C, C++, Perl, Python, Hypertext Markup Language, Lisp, You'll probably fall asleep before you finish reading this list so I'll stop it here}
Sprite artist {I am better at Lo-res than Hi-res}
Music artist {Beatboxer, Rapper, Singer, Chiptunes {barely}, Instrumentals, and Wubstomp}

I have screwed around with console configurations within Team Fortress 2 and believe a lot of those skills will be transferable to MM8BDM.

I hope we can have a productive time with each other in the Cutstuff forums.
