Glue shot will make the same noise as oil slider does when the oil ball hits the ground. Also just like in the game glue shot shoud deal the same amount of damage as oil slider in its droplet form. A normal glue shot holds for 3 seconds and a charged shot will hold opponents in place for 9seconds(just getting the idea for the fact that one charged mega buster shot uses three normal shots combined. When you an enemy gets stuck in place then you can use the mega buster to quickly finish them off before the effect wares off. 3 jumps gets you free from a normal glue puddle and 4 jumps gets you free from a charged glue puddle.
When the some one is killed by glue shot, then the death messages at the top left corner will read, "Vajaran was glued in place by CutManMike's glue shot" or "vajaran was adhesed by ceridran's glue shot".

If the Mega man unlimited expansion comes out so should a mission mode expansion come out too like the original mega man mission mode version1c which is the newest? Also, I hope mega man unlimited, rockman no constancy, mega man forever, ( obviously I've been in the three called "opening the flood gates, rockman no constancy) and the other possible fan game and romhack expansions get programmed into the core game in future updates(well that is if there will be one)(I could be in mega man 8bit deathmatch version 4b or 4c) it would be a good idea so that instead of jumping into the romhack chapters wouldn't be so easy-I mean it could be a boss or another intro or cut scene with dr.wily, mega man, dr.light, or roll (not the old classic roll- the roll in rockman no constancy which appears to be wearing a tank top t-shit in the weapon get screen in the game). It could even be another one of those version 1 like endings with the whole "this man saved the world. He deserves a statue!" sort of thing.

But there will be letter grade ranks or percentages for stuff like how accurate your shooting is and how many frags you get each minute or your frag rate.

I'm thinking about doing it but I need a screen recorder that won't drop my fps in the game. I'm the ultimate assassin when it comes to mega man and MM8BDM I beat one of my friends in school without taking damage from any thing but that's only because it was just me and him fighting each other. I wish to compete with some of the best players in the cutstuff community. I have a Logitech controller and I can kick some serious robo-butt. My shooting is average or fairly accurate enough to drag some one in 8 seconds.

What if in mm8bdm at the end of each level the game had calculated stuff like speed, accuracy, kill rate (per minute), special technique?

Thunder bolt from mega man 7 could cut its attack power in half because it splits in half when it touches a solid surface.

What if MM8BDM took gaming tournaments and mega man gameplay to the next level. There could be a better Zandronum and the player capacity could be maximized and you would compete on teams from the USA, Europe and Asia. That would be so cool and you could get a mm8bdm account for the game and compete for exp points and higher ranks and there would be  more announcers we could even play the game with the oculus rift depending on if zandronum will support it or not. Also the music could be a top voted youtube remix on a original mega man theme such as metal man or spark man, then when everyone is ready then a person will say over the mic," Prepare to kick some robot butt!". We could win trophies if the game became popular around the world and I also thought about a mm8bdm translation hack so that people around the world can play it. This world tournament could be for anyone who loves first person shooter action games and mega man. Then like in mm8 a cut scene will play when a certain chapter is beat. (I practically ran out of breath getting excited over this idea) it's a long explanation because the idea can be set up a various number of ways so if you want to tell me what you think would Improve this idea or would make it more awesome, then just leave it in the comment box.
(There might be a little legal stuff and financial business involved before this idea is actuallay possible)

You know I've been playing mm8bdm for a while and I noticed that in one match I was shooting elec man in the face with the mega buster but he wasn't taking any damage. Is it possible to edit the hit boxes with the original doom 2 source code? I think the collision and hit boxes should be the same as the original nes hit boxes because I hate always shooting at their feet, I mean it just looks stupid.

I'm new to the forum and I was very amazed by mighty number 9 and I thought about contacting inafune so I could ask him if it's possible for a Mighty no. 9 3d first person shooter is possible. It will be sort of like Mega Man 8-Bit Death Match.

THINK OF THE DEVELOPERS and the work they've put into the actual game that still exists in the present, please?

Doing this stuff will take even more work and I'm sure the community won't all jump on board this idea because some of us here have shitty PCs that drop framerate whenever a 3D game is loaded.
A new Megaman FPS wouldn't make people stop playing 8bdm.

Well the project would be possible if I had an xbox 360 publishing license and xna studio and a good coding language. But it would be bad because there would be no payment or reward to the dev team and the xbox has limited memory.

Well it is programming languages out there but in order for me to actually stay up all night coding it then I would have to learn a lot of trigonometry and geometry. So basically it would take a lot of math and computer science or I could use game maker 3D or unity 3D.

Well I asked one of my teachers and they said that it would be possible if I knew how to code it but then again, it would probably take a good PC or special software and a new engine to run it depending on the quality of the graphics and the comparability.
But this could be a great idea for the title screen.
