In related news, I've noticed that we aren't exactly drowning in people signing up for the sucession list/dwarfing. In the case of the latter, I highly recommend everyone who reads this thread to sign up for dwarfing if they haven't already. Things become much moretragichilariousFun if a well-known community member receives an involuntary quadruple amputation than when the same happens to some unnamed shmuck. The fortress needs you: Apply today!
In the case of overseers, it's more understandable, since this game is not exactly everyone's cup of tea. I'm just posting to let everyone know that, in case we should ever run out of overseers (which seems fairly likely, at this point), I am going to assume leadership for years where no leaders are available. In addition, if you wish to sign up for a second year, feel free, although people that haven't played a year before, or have played less years than you, will receive priority, even if they sign up after you do.
The third one wasn't bad, but it wasn't as good as the second one, at least in my opinion. And I enjoyed the guild for the reason Gumballtoid said.I think I hated the guild because of my dense genocidal hatred for chatot...

I would say something in agrement with this post but I never got the second installment in the series due to the whole guild thing turned me off. So.... Myeh : pEven though the guild sucks a** (though it did have an updated mission system with criminals), it did have a better story then just a former human being a jerka** to you.
Plus the first installment's rescue team concept is lot more appealing to me than the other installment's concepts.
