I like how one of the Anon's has this as his comment
Quote
can hear it now...

ARCHIE REP: Can I have the first question, please?
FAN: Yeah, are you gonna f*** this up like you did with Sonic?
(Awkward silence)
ARCHIE REP: Next question, please!
FAN: HEY!

I know nothing of what happened AFTER Sonic returned from drifting in the universe and all, but I can personally tell you that everything before that was pretty good, especially the Knuckles series. Course he could just be another hater so eh...

Eh just try to be patient and slide the opposite direction of the tornado. The stage may be cramped but it should leave you enough to dodge. Now if you were to jump over the Kamaitachi attack then that would take a bit practice if you want to be flashy ((even though jumping over it isn't hard, just have to be close before I launch it)).

As for ReDeads, yeah, they're pretty creepy, but like Dead Hand, its not like you wet yourself when you see them or anything. I guess the fact that they always appear at unexpected moments is pretty annoying. They were probably actually creepiest in Wind Waker, though, which is kind of funny considering the fact that most people assume Wind Waker is the "kiddiest" of the series. (I honestly don't think its kiddy at all, its just most people do.)

Completely agree with this. And yes in a way Wind Waker made them pretty intimidating. What really worked was how they just scan your movement with simple head turns and slowly walk to you until they scream and their eyes glow. Like hollow puppets just waiting to kill you

...Actually I really think the reason why these things are scary is the fact that once they get to you, they practically "embrace" you ((body and all)) and bite you till no end.

Don't be trolling me man...

I would think that would be a complement, as in you're a capable fighter.

Yeah in Famicom where you screwed if your not under me when I launch my Tornado Hold. Other than that, very predicable movements where you mostly just have to jump and run briefly.  Course in terms of a buster only run in MM&B, it can be pretty tricky.

Also...

Yes. If you miss the Dive Missile, you're in trouble.

I don't see how you could do that, though. I mean, its not like he fires them in random directions.

Anything homing in your direction no matter how much you move can lead to panic, so I would say that could be a reason as to why most of us hate fighting him. That and half the time common sense isn't applied when your just hot linked on "jump jump, shoot jump, slide, run, jump shoot, etc from traversing a stage :p

Good riddance. The concept was good but the art style was a steaming pile of radioactive dogshit.

Hi Metal...

I'll leave this here

Ain't the best looking art style I've seen in a game, but I can't say it's an ugly pile of shit cause I've seen worst...
What makes it awkward is the fact that every model and enemy is 3D while the stage itself is just plain flat in detail..

I think it should stay 8-bit. They gave 3d a go, it was MMPU, which was cool but just wasn't the same. Trying to do 3d precision jumps with big fluffy models is not easy!

Well why NOT focus on 2D based platforming and go with the mechanics which Legends works under. After all Legends was suppose to be the next gen Mega Man of the classic series if I recalled correctly. Besides, remove the whole dungeon concept with the fortress, more complex traps and unique weapons and you have a good game.

Besides I think we all want to fight our favorite RMs in three dimensions and in a way we received it with Mike's game and this itself is how it should work if Capcom EVER decides to make one.

Also 8 May not have been the best game in the series for it's difficulty though I believe 8's purpose was to show how they can turn a retro game into something beautiful. I mean actually look at the environments, the textures. They weren't once an eye sore and haven't been and I think when they used this with X 4 & 5 it was just amassing IMO.

Why does everyone find Dive Man so hard?

Cause Dive Man is a spammer... and he deals ridiculous amounts of damage...

That isn't Legends

But nevertheless I agree with that statement. Though say if it were to happen but it ends up like Sonic "4", I think that thought is what makes me fear for whats to come of our Blue Bomber as of this generation.

Well why exactly DID we have to buy Proto Man for 2 bucks when just unlocking him could have been smarter. Paying for things like the marathon stage and time attacks are worth spending. Character add ons... not so much, which also applies to Ultimate Alliance's same method, but that's my opinion. Course can't say the release of MM 9 was the complete end of the franchise but rather MM 10's release sort of just pushed it in my face saying "they're milking off our nostalgic meters..."

Sentinel is still a cheap ass no matter how much of a nerf he receives, course I have seen in person very experienced players single handedly rip him to shreds within minutes

But I'm trying to get it once it's price reduces in a few extra months ((wanted Fable 3 and Dreamcast collection... don't judge me...))

Also me seeing that art of BN Megaman just gave me a vision of the apocalypse for the entire MM franchise. Cutman mike, you are our only hope.
