Made the first change but not the second one as it just makes the Quint fight even more mysterious and trickier to figure out it exists.

Fixed. However Zandronum still doesn't support that flag for A_TakeFromTarget so some weapons still may take ammo. I could hack around it to make it work but this will automatically be fixed fully when Zandronum updates.

After a short(tm) break, the Mega Man 8-bit Deathmatch team will now begin development of version 6, also known as the Mega Man 10 expansion! This time the project's development will be lead by Dr. Freeman, with assistance from Korby and myself. The expansion will contain all that you can expect from a MM8BDM core expansion: New weapons, maps, skins, campaign, etc all based on Mega Man 10 content, along with some new surprises sprinkled in! In addition, we are also planning to release V5D to fix some annoying bugs that have persisted for far to long, which may also include some bonus map changes and other minor tweaks. Stay tuned for more info on that, and be sure to report anything you'd like to be fixed/changed in the bugs forum as soon as possible!

Please post any questions/concerns/hype in this thread and we will try to be as transparent as we can as we move forward with MM8BDM's development. Thanks for sticking with us, and hope we will have something to tease you all with sooner rather than later  :)

More update. Hopefully the last one for a little while.

    * Added a Fish trader.
    * Fixed certain fishes with incorrect icons.
    * Made the Glitch Fish less easy to obtain.
    * Boss 2's minions now die when the boss does.
    * Hopefully Chatty Slug doesn't disconnect people now.
    * You can now only have one pet at a time and pets now have even more colour variations (preparing for pet rework later).
    * Added a few more uniques.

I did not fix hard enough:

    You can now type "stuck" on the console to request a teleport back to spawn. Use this if you find yourself trapped inside props etc.
    Fixed a bug where the safe would delete your saved appearance if you acquired a fishing upgrade, then attempted to load.
    Fixed Plugman being able to drain the HP of PVPers while in non-PVP mode.
    Nerfed Boss 2 and made it's summoning item easier to obtain.
    Added a few more fish.

Little hotfix version to fix some annoying things:

    Fixed Plugman being able to drain HP of non-PVPers.
    Fixed Shademan being able to grab non-PVPers.
    Fixed Backwards Slug using the wrong icon.
    Detector and Crusher Piranhas now use unique colours instead of both red.
    Gave the fishing bobber THRUGHOST, which allows shield classes to fish once again.
    Other minor fixes.
