EDIT: When I said it works really well, I meant I play on a 1.1 bukkit server with quite a few plugins, and we haven't have any problems or crashes.

There's a dev release for 1.1 that works pretty well.

Honestly, usually just the fact that there is a plugin that logs griefing is enough to deter griefers.

Why on earth did jeb think it was a good idea to make the flatworld only 3/4 blocks high? The slimes are freaking ridiculous.
Without the slimes, I think it would be an awesome challenge.
Also, why don't you want to run bukkit? You should at least have some anti-grief plugins.

I was going to make a mod for this, but to lazy to learn decorate.
It was basically going to be MM1 and 2, put into complete maps and monsters.
But can't make monsters (And some map tweaks) because I can't code.

Back up everything to a flashdrive and completely uninstall DB2. Then reinstall, and try opening some of the stuff you lost/see if the errors continue.

It seams your DB2 is pretty buggy.
1. What OS are you on?
2. Have you tried a reinstall?

For future reference, don't rely on DB's backups. Make your own backups manually often.
