Like I said, there is a friends list sort of. If they change their name, you have to readd them.

Skulltag has all the same gamemodes as about any popular game, plus more. Care to explain?
Imo, roboenza is not fun, but obviously I stand alone on that one.

Mario 64 was my childhood too :p
I put weeks of time into it. I don't think there's been a game since I spent as much time on.

I'd like to see a server that had variation to it. I was going to do it every friday, but I'm just not reliable. But the lack of alternating servers isn't the problem. If you host a server, people will look at it and go "F*** that, I'm playing roboenza."

You should make it where you control (play as) the pokemon... That would be awesome.
Also, theres a crappy doom mod of pokemon with a quite a few sprite rotations. Dunno where to find it, might be on wadhost though. Of course you'll need to get ahold of the the author for permission.

This is already a game mode for skulltag. There isn't any coding needed, the checking of the skull is already coded into skulltag. This project is just maps and sprites. I really look forward to it, I always liked skulltag, even though it was underplayed.

We dont have exactly the same router but close enough.

Name doesn't matter.
Service type: do both to be safe.
Starting and stopping port: I just realized this is the wrong setup... Start with 10666 (I have one setting for just 10666 and one for 10667-10667) and end with 10670, in case skulltag somehow changes it, or you host multiple servers.
Port should end with .2 in your case.

When its done it should look like this:
