Since there's a good chance that MMV will be also made, I got a couple for some Stardroids.

Jupiter:

After the update, the game loads the skin normally like it was supposed to. Everything's fine now. I forgot about this..

I saw the new maps, and they are actually neat.

Fire Man's map is actually great since there's wider weapon selection. I like Bomb Man's too, since I mostly get killed by a shot in the back in the old map, the new walls and indoor section somewhat lessens the chance of getting that. The others aren't pretty much noticeable, but they're far from bad.

I haven't checked Drill Man yet. Still hate Crash Man though.

Thanks. I cheated in some segments (mostly bosses) and i'm feeling a little guilty. Now, i'll be trying my best clearing them with no cheats at all. Plus, I get to check all the map changes, with no distractions and skipping levels.

The expansion seemed to fix the skins problem.


As for the Treble-Boost argument.... what if all of the players got fed up of the one who's abusing T.Boost and decides to team up with each other? You'll be having lots of projectiles to dodge against plus being attacked by lots of players just to set you down, stripping you of your jetpack. Not to mention you can be cornered if that ever happens. And you're not the only one who can get T.Boost, others can and may and will start to chase you to death.

Unless you're in single player, then you can abuse it with no problems at all, since you're battling bots who only have one aim: Kill everything they see.

And they almost do not execute a strategy at all.

Try playing Dark Man's boss battle stage, then add a bot. It's actually hilarious, once you to start to add another bot player in the battle, the cam will be close-up on the newly joined bot, saying the same line that Dark Man said moments ago. You can add bots as many as you want, but the game will be stuck if some of them gets damaged.

The funny part is even Darkman and the other bots freeze in place. And the game's seriousness wears off.

I have read the parts of the forum where they're debating about the weapon colors.

So is it going to be green Wave Burner, Purple Lightning bolt or red w.Burner and orange L.bolt?

I vote for the former that I mentioned. Also, brown and green for Magic Card for uniqueness. As for Remote Mine, any colors can do for me. Same applies for S.Drill, I.Wall, and C.Vision.

I have a few questions, but I will start with the simple one...do you use Windows?
If so, here's a thing you should try to make sure the skin isn't being loaded...

    place the line +logfile "PWSkinTest" in the "additional command line parameters" box.
    Make sure the skin is in your skins folder and not loaded using the "add file" option.
    Launch the game, when it finishes loading, close it.
    There should be a new .log file in your MM8BDM folder, open this using notepad or your preferred text editor.
    use ctrl+f [find] and search for the name of the skin's pk3. If it doesn't exist, then the file isn't loading.


Nope, I can't find the skin's name on the log.

BTW, is the new version of MM8BDM where Mega Man & Bass is going to be included will be released on May 17th? I saw it on the launcher, where I can see a glimpse of what seems to be King.

Yes in the same place, the PW skin doesn't load for the first time until I tried the "add file" function in the MM8BDM launcher.
