Ayy, Rock Force Expansion? Count me in, I can code stuff and make smaller sprites. My Skype's Sonicfam1102 and my Discord is Sonicfam1102#2887 (Cutmail works too).

W.I.P Forum / Re: megaman DOS mod
« on: August 07, 2016, 04:42:53 AM »
This is actually Fr3akGamer's DOS Classes, somebody probably shoulda made a thread for it considering he can't himself, with him being banned and what-not. So I guess this is the official thread for it now...? Anywho, you probably ought to put some screenshots or something.

So I can't actually download this file, it's encrypted. Along with this, I actually have no idea what this mod is, so an explanation or at least some screenshots would be nice.

Closed / [Possession Glitch] Centaur Flash Infinite Invisibility
« on: August 03, 2016, 12:29:31 AM »
Not sure if it'd be possible to fix this or even if it would be worth it to fix it, but activating Centaur Flash then picking up the Circuit Board gives you infinite invisibility. This pretty much guarantees a win since no one can find you then.

Rejected / Proto Man Fight Outdated Sprite
« on: July 30, 2016, 10:09:16 PM »
Something that irked me about Proto Man's fight is the sprite whenever he's defeated. I noticed it's the same sprite from MMSP but that sprite appears to be based off of Proto Man's old skin. MedalHunter has created some crouching sprites for Proto Man in his Blues skin though so possibly with permission those could be re-purposed for this fight. Below's just a quick comparison of the two.

Mike posted this image on Discord and I think it sums the situation up well. (This image does have a spoiler by the way, so open with caution.)

MM8BDM Discussion / mike you cheeky bastard

I've seen quite a few replies from people analyzing the trailer but there's still something no one has mentioned yet.
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA WHY

Alright, so on a serious note, I spent WAY too long looking for this, like I think I probably watched that trailer a good 40 times looking for what we could possibly be missing. Eventually my search just got to the point where I didn't even care what it was but I just wanted the satisfaction of finding it. So about after 30 times of watching the video normally, I finally just got out the frame advance software. After what felt like an eternity, I found this...

Gonna just put it in a spoiler in case you want to figure it out yourself or don't want the spoiler at all,

Anyway, that's discovered finally. Seriously though, like no wonder nobody found this secret, it literally shows up for 5 frames. That's just crazy and it drove me insane looking for it.

Closed / Evil Robot Translation Oddity
« on: July 24, 2016, 02:01:21 AM »
I was fighting Evil Robot again recently and I noticed something odd, the FX's that show whenever his fist is charging are blue and red. Considering Evil Robot's main colors are purple and red I thought this was a bit odd so I looked at the actor for it. It turns out that it's a Gamma sprite with a translation. Looking at this translation, "64:78=189:189", "208:208=176:176", the FX's ought to be red and a darker red. It turns out the blue part of the sprite isn't covered in this translation so it ends up looking like this,

However, if you change the translation to "198:198=189:189", "208:208=176:176", you get the proper colors which look like this,

I just figured I would point this out, I'm not sure which colors you guys actually wanted but I assume the latter considering the translation is there in the first place.

So I guess as a developer of this I might as well make a post about this. MMWorld for me was the biggest project I've ever been a part of. In fact, it was actually the first legitimate project I've been in since the beginning and had released. A total of 1 year, 10 months, and 1 day was spent on this project (not non-stop but you get the idea), so you can guess that a lot of us on the team wanted to get this out for people to play. I will say this though, even with how chaotic development could get at times, I don't regret any of the time I spent working on this. I went into this mod with next to no coding skills, being able to mostly make weapon edits, but by working on this I've gotten tons of experience in coding. The mod's had its ups and downs, fun times with inside jokes, and the bad times with some of us at each other's throats. I just want to thank everyone who helped with this project, even if you're not on the team anymore or if you just gave some suggestions, we wouldn't have been able to release this without you. Of course this doesn't mean the end though, as Tails mentioned, we might make some mini-mods or hold some special events for MMWorld. Now the main mod is being updated by JC as well. Along with this, JC has started a MMWorld Dev Discord where you guys can give suggestions and help test the mod, https://discord.gg/8AKKA. To conclude this post, this mod was a lot of fun to work on and I hope that people enjoy it (even though it's filled with bugs currently).

Completely forgot to mention this in one of those other posts I sent but it seems like you guys could use a few more testers, and I happen to be interested in helping. My Skype is Sonicfam1102 if you guys are cool with me helping test JC.
