MM8BDM Discussion / Re: SERVER READY Thread

:: [BE] Montreal :: YD-Bandaid Duel
192.99.6.150:15015

Ever since BE crashed recently I hadn't seen a YD-Duel server show up, so here ya go.

Running without Buckshot, but that can change if enough people wish.

(Some of them were taken from Freedoom and edited, though).
I knew Map07 seemed strikingly familiar. (aside from being another Dead Simple clone, of course.)

It was bugging me all throughout playing it, I thought it was just a coincidence.

Very nice haul there!

I'm surprised Roguelike Arsenal even after being mentioned in a previous Cacoward, but then again, that time it wasn't actually a winner.

EDIT: Hey, Beed! Contra Doom was referenced here!

I've been playing a lot of Beed's Contra Doom lately.

Loads of fun with map packs like Back to Saturn X.

This poll is shit, the best option isn't even on there.
Which would be what, exactly?

Projects & Creative / Re: The Robots are Revolting! (DOS Reborn)

Bit Man's map POC reminds me of a more watery MMBTEN, which I like.

It's nice to see this expansion get rebooted, though! I was actually starting to wonder where the old DOS project went.

Though it's highly convoluted and incredibly confusing sometimes, Space Dandy is one of the funniest goddamn animes things I've ever seen. You should watch it some time.
I was going to mention this, actually!

Second season gets a bit out of wack, but for the most part it's done in the best of ways.

Seriously, give it a shot.

Events / Re: YD Classes V8A Team Hoyp Tournament - Started!

After consulting both OJ and my team, I've decided that I will hereby resign from Team FDIK.
College is kicking me in the dick, and I really don't wanna hold my team back with my life priorities.

I wish good luck to the team and everyone else, and I'm sorry that I can't stick around for the tourney.

With all that said, FDIK has an open slot at the time of writing this, so hopefully it can get filled soon enough.

Mega Man Discussion / Re: Mega Man Fan Game Collection Topic

Gonna comment that Super Fighting Robot is probably the best MM fangame I've played aside from 8BDM.

Please do give it a shot!

I love and hate this game at the same time.

I went an entire game with 3 friends where every battle I got into (which was, unfortunately, a lot) I always rolled too little to defend myself.

I got the 'Some People Have All The Luck!' achievement that match.

Classic Doom took gore and sprayed it in fair portions when it needed it, while Brutal Doom just pours gore with little rhyme or reason 'till you get this extremely salty food that veers away from Doom's humble arcade-style, pseudo-slapstick early 90s american saturday morning cartoon violence.
This is, for the most part, my opinion on Brutal Doom.

I will admit, the "Classic" class added in V20 is a nice touch to keep the game fast paced.
