And that's the gist, I guess. It should make for some interesting matches once we get the release. Jumping off of the bikes and hijacking another player's bike would be simply awesome, however.

The game is a completely-free IWAD for Skulltag, and I doubt Cutman Mike will be needing any donations to finish the game outside of hosting the servers.

Gravity Hold would be fun when the stage is on low gravity. You'd hit the frickin' ceiling! Would the damage increase if you had a ceiling impact from Gravity Hold in such a scenario? That could be a nuisance.

It's actually the only 8-bit arrangement by Zinger that I know of, as most of his work is strictly Yamaha FM Synthesis Streets of Rage-style beats. Excellent work, and it's criminal that it hasn't been posted on the Tube yet.

I need to get the Chiptuned Rockman remix of Gravity Man's BGM on the Tube later. It would fit so well with this stage.

Great work so far though. That long bridge looks excellent for long-range gunplay.

There are elements of Mega Man that fit in perfectly with a deathmatch set-up, and elements that don't fit in. A gratuitous number of stage hazards interferes with the actual deathmatch in such a way that it just ruins it for everyone. Disappearing blocks en route to a super-awesome weapon is understandable, but not a million chasms and such.

This game, ultimately, is here to apply classic Mega Man audiovisuals to Doom 2 with Skulltag, not to be a whole different kind of first-person shooter. There is a balance to be struck.

Fire Man. Not only is his stage a good challenge, what with fire and lava death coming from everywhere, but he's a frickin' candle that shoots waves of flame. His weapon is also quite useful.

In all seriousness, however, I haven't found a real favorite yet. Another top contender is Shadow Man, cause he seems pretty kick-ass as well.
