I could copy n paste this, it definantly says 0.98c for me.

Mine says "Failed to connect:  your version is different.  This server is using:  Skulltag v0.98c - alpha."

FAILED TO CONNECT
THIS SERVER IS USING : O.98C
Which I have. I'm redownloading, so hope it works.

No, it says 0.98c - Alpha.  I can't connect because I have the latest version which is just .98c.

I downloaded the newest version but I still can't connect to the 24-hour server (It still says I don't have the newest version)

Are you sure that's what it says?  I can't connect because the 24-hour server is running on 98 alpha, not the latest version.

Skulltag .98c has been released, and now the game's internal browser doesn't work.  Also, you can't play people with different versions, so I haven't been able to play an online match all day.

With the updated Skulltag throwing a wrench into online play, I'm making my own server that will be up this afternoon for a while.

Server name:  Mr. X's 8-bit Server (Custom Stages Required)
Find via the internal browser or ide.

Stages Required:  Blade Man and Wily Stage 5

Current status:  Down.

Ok, I've got a server up, but I'm not sure if people can connect.

I'll try to leave this up as much as possible today, since I might want to play and it appears that none of the other servers have the updated version of Skulltag.

That makes sense, let's make it less user friendly.  Oh well, at least I can still connect to the server, it's just less convenient.  Thanks for the help!

Yeah, now that I've updated, the internal browser is kind of working.  Now the only problem is that it shows ALL servers, not just the MM8BDM ones.

The launcher forces run on. This was to make sure people weren't confused on the first run when they were moving slower than everyone else

Yeah, but it randomly turns off on me.  I don't press any keys other than wasd (my movement keys) and it just happens.

I just got done making my first skin/bot, Dr. Wily, with the help of the tutorials.  Thanks to sprites-inc.co.uk for the original sprites.  I had to add a few features so you could easily see what weapon he has.

I've got an options bug.  Sometimes, I'll die and when I respawn, some of my options have changed automatically.  The most common is that I have always run on, and rarely after I die, it will suddenly turn off.  I don't have a run key set, so it isn't me pressing the wrong key.

I have identified the N.E.W. Server Aids Epidemic -- it's really just a case of merely playing Team Deathmatch, where everyone good player loves joining the Light team just because DAWWWWWW LIGHT WON MAAAAAAAAN...

So no one good ever seems to join Wily Team, except some nobody and I, and the other team clobbers us until we all rage-quit, thus leaving no team to fight. Everybody leaves.

This is why I hate TDeathmatch, and it doesn't even allow individuals to kick arse. If everyone but you on a team sucks, so be it.

I figured everybody just clicked auto-select like I do.
