I can only assume that the person who sent that PM has an absolute hateboner for shilling of any kind, but it does seem odd that someone would actually get mad enough to send Dimpsy a PM about it. Truth be told though, this can't surprise me much. I still remember the UMAID incident all too well lol... In any case, if it's any consolation, the community isn't really gonna bite you much these days when not a lot of people are active anymore. You can only just browse and make pretty small posts. Like this one

You Only Live Once by Ratiendo is probably one of the first examples I can remember of "fuck up once and its all over" games where you really can't undo a mistake. I really wish Ratiendo was still around making experimental games instead of signing his soul off to Adult Swim and producing meaningless shovelware

Technically, sloped 3d floors can exist, but only in OpenGL rendering. When you try to render sloped 3d floors in Software, they simply don't appear. Yet again another reason to drop software renderng off the face of the earth and stick exclusively to OpenGL (._. )

Happy birthday MM8BDM! According to Muz, this is the five-year anniversary of v1a's release, and I still remember vividly when I walked into a server and beat 31 other people in deathmatch for the first time on the old MM2HEA with nothing but Atomic Fire spam.
If there was any member you could revive from the grave, who would you bring back? I still think Galaxy Sisbro left us too soon

I don't think you're correct at all. The only place where you can die would be the pit near the middle of the stage since that doesn't come with any warnings. If you paid more attention to the textures that light up around the outline of the stage, you could easily avoid death. Also, remembering the layout of the stage is incredibly important, and not even that hard to do.

I think the best you can do to is connect your computer directly to the modem/router you are using for your internet connection so that online gaming doesn't stutter so much for you. That's what happened to me when I replaced my modem and couldn't play online games from my room. It's not convenient, but it works.
