Don't worry about it Nu. Just ignore the topic and let Ran create his own accusations here.

Oh good, a logical post. Thanks, BB!

Anyway, Ran, I have one question for you. Why on earth are you designating "trolling" posts with a picture of the Light Warriors on Chocobos?
Allow me to provide a good explanation.

You mad Bik?

we obviously need a bit of a redistribution from our group. I say Wily seems balanced, while Cossack and X need serious aid. My reccomendation is to have 2 of our members (and one of Wily's) go to other groups. We'd gladly love to promote parity among the groups.

Lol @ the drama and the responses.
When you said people prefer less fast-paced gameplay, I was slightly baffled. Raegroboenza is one of the fastest modes (relative to all the other modes, in terms of match time) and is very popular among the players. while this may prove your prior statement about casuals to be more true, I can't help but think that fast-paced gameplay is what draws the constant flow of people to popular servers.
I think I've said this before and I'll say it again: Deathmatch, CTF and LMS are not fun with just 3-4 players. People want large-scale matches that provide people with many things to shoot at. If you don't believe me, then go see how many people are drawn to a deathmatch server because of Kapus, and then play deathmatch with everyone in the server.
Lots of targets, many bullets flying all over the place, "fun" to be had. All because Kapus transformed into a beacon to draw all the players into the server. If I had those same "beacon" powers, I would make everyone play CTF all day erry day. I should be a MM8BDM dev and then invite everyone to play with me and other devs like Korby. That will get the players joining
In short, rageroboenza is almost constantly full, so people are more drawn to the big servers to find lots of people to play with. That's why it's so popular. Think of servers as fire. The bigger the fire, the more people are drawn to it. No one wants to start a fire and wait in cold loneliness for others to join.
I guess that's what we need then. More people going into empty servers and waiting. Waiting for at least 5 more people in CTF servers before a fun match can start. A few more people in Deathmatch servers before the party can really start. Alas, not many have the will to just open a skulltag window, start their favorite browser, and surf the web until someone comes by. That's what I did back in the SGC demo when I all I had to look forward to were Blaze and Dogolife. 79 minutes. Has anyone gone 79 fucking minutes in a server before seeing someone else join? Didn't think so.

I can understand the consolation bracket, but you're saying we make a consolation match for people who got eliminated once? It could work, but I just can't help but shake the feeling that this extends the match a bit too much. In any case, here's my reaction to the whole thing:

Sonia, could you be a dear and convince Nu to be our backup cameraman? He has a PC as powerful as Turbo's, yet he hasn't done anything for the group. He's in our commentary group already and he's been thinking about streaming lately, but I feel he'll be more of an asset as a backup for Turbo.

You could always dump the video onto youtube and tell them to deal with it. Either way, I feel so sorry for interrupting the commentary you two had going on.
Also, when trying to get a post-match interview from Savior, Rawk said the audio quality was horribly crippled by a constant ring in the background, which I feel came from my own microphone.
I feel like a black cat for this group, so I've decided to leave the commentary group and stick to stat-keeping. If you guys think it can still work, maybe we can try again in the quarter-finals. Or at the very least, we can find someone with a strong computer capable of handling all the video content. I know Turbo is our cameraman, but in the very case he is unable, we need a strong backup.

BTW, Bluebrawl, do you think you can create a consolation bracket a la the KO bracket you made just now? The consolation bracket will probably be as interesting and competitive as the Main bracket.
Alrighty mang. I guess I should put the leftover blue names to use.

I think this will be the second to last update I'll make for the group stage bracket. New qualifications and stats added.

And now, a sneak preview of the knockout bracket that I'll start updating tomorrow with Rtist vs. Saviorsword. The match SHOULD get recorded, but it's dependent on whether or not Rawk shows up for his own commentating group. If not, me and Muzaru/Nu will have to take his place.

Maps / Re: SmashBro's No-Longer-Useless Wall of Blueprints

Alright mang, I got the basic layout of the cage, I think. Not very accurate. Those damn graph lines are so faded I can't tell how long each section is supposed to be exactly. In any case, enjoy this.

Here's the thing I want to hear from you: Would you like for me to recreate the actual Halo Reach map (Gray and blue textures all day erry day), or would you like for me to just use something more creative? I don't know what to go with, although I am leaning more toward recreating the actual map.

New update. Nostalgia has replaced Pandea and I think I have the stats right now.

A Dropbox mirror of the very same file Thatguy just posted.
I actually did post it on the original topic, but it seems Mike didn't catch it or didn't think it was fast enough. Either way, just thought we could give people more options. At least mine downloads instantly.

I might try to implement the Cage blueprint. I'll toss you a word if I come up with anything.
Want to collaborate on the maps together? I think we need to make a few sections a little wider, but I think we can both go and recreate the design just fine.

Skins & Bots etc / Re: Actraiser Music Pack

Actraiser, eh? Hmmm, I might as well make an Anamanaguchi pack as well. I already made one for Scott Pilgrim, but Idk if I can release it. It might go under some copyright issues and whatnot. Either way, thanks for the chiptunes, Nuy. Keep them coming.
