There are no schedules, no deadlines, no anything. You're just telling us who fights and when. Now tell me OJ, HOW is this any better than Stonefunk's again?
Also,

inb4 lock.
Check out the editing section and go into the section that says "projects". As far as I know, there are mm9/10 skins out, but no real project. As for Megaman 5 GB...
Yeah, just follow my instructions and lurk more

It certainly won't get you any points with the ladies.
And how would you know this, Sean?
I think it would be possible to create some sort of ranking system. Just look at FIFA. They manage to keep track of even the smallest details and manage to show which national team is the best. It would involve some very DEDICATED stat keepers and some sort of equation to put it all together and stuff. In short, we need a bunch of people willing to give us stats and a smart mathmatician to crunch all the numbers into a neat list. Still, making power rankings wouldn't be anywhere worth the time and effort needed to do so. The most I'd be willing to contribute to this project is a neat little bracket for everyone to see, complete with icons of the player's skins and a nice 8-bit tile background.

Sorry Conficker, but I take last place.
Bluebrawl #3001
But in all honesty, I put myself somewhere in the top 20, which isn't saying much since there are 30 people that still play this on a daily basis. There really isn't a point in making power rankings. We all have differing opinions on who is great and who isn't. Here's a rant for your time.

MM8BDM Discussion / Re: The manly Brossession tournament: Signups only
« on: February 25, 2011, 11:22:15 PM »
I was going to simply copy/paste the post I made to enter Stonefunk's tournament, but I'm too lazy to even look for it. Anyways.
Player Name: Bluebrawl=Haste=IRWC
Country: United States of America (Oregon (representin' the west side!))
Times available: Weekdays: 6-12 P.M. eastern     Weekends: 1-12 P.M. eastern
Time zone: Pacific Time
That should give you all the info you need. Also, I'd like to give some more ideas for achievements.
If you can't beat 'em, leave 'em: Rage quit in the middle of a match.
Doh'!: drop the board 20 times in a single round. (might be hard to keep track of)
Speedy Gonzalez: Win one round in less than a minute.
AHAHAHAAHAHAHAH YOU SUCK BLUE: Beat Bluebrawl.
More to come soon. I think. I don't know.

So what are you, a mole? Or should I say, a hedgehog an investigator? I'd like for you to research on some of the Role players around here. Figure out what makes them tick. And by tick, I mean completely pissed off. Why? Because I'd like to see how you "investigate". It's not like I'm gonna use the material you give me anyways. Come to think of it, do research on who often rage quits from servers and for what reason.

Got permabanned from OJ's moon server. Reason: Autism. No really, Autism. I didn't even have to say anything else. Just autism. He would mostly kick me for 10 minutes at a time and I simply took it as a harsh joke to him, but then one day I got banned for good. Then again, I think drowning his home with lava in Minecraft had something to do with it.

Shut up with all this pointless crap. Savior talked at his own risk, YD won. THE END. Good riddance, this isn't the presidential election.
Yeah. What this guy said.

NO. YD won clear as day, too bad if you were typing, your loss. If you think "ping is unfair" have someone from Greenland host. And I don't think there is anyone from Greenland willing to host.
Isn't Ashley from Greenland? Let's go pester Ashley into making us a duel sever!

So, if I understand it correctly, this is the new bracket:

It's not hard to do matches. Come on guys; get a move on!
I thought you said you would give me credit for making the bracket. WHERE'S MY CREDIT. THAT FILENAME HAS YOUR NAME IN IT, NOT MINE.
Stonefunk, please make a schedule for matches. You asked us what times we are available. Now put those little stats to good use.

so who will advance from the round of 16 if the matches are unfinished or unplayed?

coin flip?

My thought is if neither player has made any attempt to schedule their tournament match is that Firestorm declare a double forfeit. While this may speed up the tournament, it would let someone skip a round without even getting a chance to schedule their challenge against either player.

Next time one hosts a tournament, I suggest that applicants state how likely it is that they will be able to participate in every round of the tournament from round 1 to the championship should they make it that far. That way, there are fewer forfeitures, more contests and a more definite champion. There still might be an exception to that (Sonia's sudden inability to access the internet is a good example) but you will get competitors who can guarantee they'll fight until the end.
Or how about creating a schedule for everyone to follow. Doesn't anyone remember DTD's tourney? That had some form of schedule, and it went smoothly. Also, when I made it clear for GOL to show up against TBG, EVERYONE FROM GOL showed up on time, ready to assault them with everyone we had. Meanwhile, TBG, who didn't seem to get the word out to all their allies, didn't acquire all the members they needed for a big match. I use this expample to make a valid point about schedules and tournaments: they work well together. Let's not make deadlines, let's create timelines.

Pretty much this. I guess next time you guys can privatize the server and have everyone join by typing in the ip in the launcher. That way, things could go off more securely and I won't have to cringe the second I see that marriage server ever again.

The problem with that is that there aren't an equal amount of frags on either server. Forcing someone to fight longer on one server than another is a bit unfair. Implying that Savior wins 5-2, then does that mean that Yellow can also win 5-1, and thus be granted the victory, since he played better on his continent? Lets do it how we did GOL vs One Ran Army: One person hosts in US and we do a best to 10. W ehave another game in Europe. We tally up the frags in both servers, and whoever has more wins.
My suggestion: my plan will involve a boat, a fully charged laptop, and a 600 mile long internet cable :b
In all seriousness, let's test who has stronger internet. If Savior doesn't have strong internet, we play in a US server. If Yellow Devil has weaker internet, we play in a EU server.
Any questions?
Finally, 100 ms isn't incredibly big of a difference. 200+ would be big, but I think it takes longer for someone to blink. Think about how long an actual second is, and then take a tiny sliver of that second. As you can see, it is not that big of a deal. If you need to use a sliver of a second as an excuse for losing, then I can't really call you a good player. Given, of course, that you are constantly a tiny bit slow. Still, just be grateful you can actually PLAY with people ACROSS THE ATLANTIC OCEAN and have lag that is only a fraction of a second long.
Now that I think about how fast bullets go and how easy it is to miss, I kinda feel like taking that ping argument back. No wait, never mind.
