That's because you DID do that. For about 3 minutes. And then I lost.

If I had charge kick, so did they. Don't you remember the part of the match where I was trying to chase down Muzaru and he kept charge kicking away from me and trying to shake me off his tail? Even in matches with long time limits, there will still be a set time. Thus, when the time is nearly up, people can play a game of cat and mouse to run and clock until time is up. Extreme time limits? Then what is the point of time limits in the first place? Just so that the match can finish just in time? In all honesty, I think duels should be decided by who gets more frags overall, and not who can get the kill quicker.

The thing that is supposed to happen is something like this between US and EU users (although it could apply to those of differing countries as well):

1) Fraglimit: 20 or more. Something open-ended would be best.
2) Timelimit: 15 mins. This way the games must end.
3) Games: 2. One on a US server and one on an EU server.
4) Winner: Either by the winner of the games or by frag differential if there's a split in games.

Why the US/EU matches aren't being played in this format, I have no idea. This way, it is completely balanced.
Remove the time limit. If someone gained a tiny lead and had one minute remaining, they could just run away like a coward and win in a cheap fashion. I could see this happening in Top Man...
Top man...
Top man...
Dangit Muzaru.

The problem with that is that there aren't an equal amount of frags on either server. If savior doesn't really win on a US server, then it will be pretty tough for him to win in a European server.
My suggestion: my plan will involve a boat, a fully charged laptop, and a 600 mile long internet cable :b
In all seriousness, let's test who has stronger internet. If Savior doesn't have strong internet, we play in a US server. If Yellow Devil has weaker internet, we play in a EU server.

Fuck yeah, Conficker. Thanks for linking to the video. I don't think I would be anywhere near this forum had I not subscribed to Vardoc a few weeks earlier.

Take it easy. It's just a game.
This person speaks the truth and then some. Let's all take a moment to relax and let Messatsu apply his rules for a while. If things become more hectic, then we will make changes accordingly. Simple as that. No need to bicker. No need to whine.
P.S. Tsukiyomaru0 is making himself out to be the biggest fool on the internet I've ever seen. This is the kind of stuff I read about on Encyclopedia Dramatica, except I'm witnessing all this drama first hand.

New update to the tourney bracket. Also, I think the awards should be saved until the very end, when we can all look back on this.

What brought me here? I've been a member in Cutstuff for ages. (Member 37 or so). So I've been here since MM8BDM first started it's creation.

My exact reasons for being in Cutstuff was because I liked it here. Skulltag's community...is well Skulltag's community.
Seriously, the second you replied was the second I thought "OH SHIT IT'S GETTING LOCKED", but thanks for telling your story.

MM8BDM Discussion / What has brought you here?
« on: February 12, 2011, 07:33:47 AM »
After checking all three hundred and twenty-something topics, I'm amazed that this question hasn't been brought up yet. The question being: What brought you to MM8BDM in the first place? This topic will serve as a way for people to tell their stories about how they heard about the game and how their first time went. We might get some good stories, we might not.
Example (also true story):
On the day of July 16 (or was it 14th? Whatever.) 2010, Vardoc uploaded a video entitled "Random gaming: Megaman deathmatch". In the video, he showed gameplay of both needle man's stage and MM3 dr wily 1. Intrigued, I decided to download the whole thing from Vardoc's download page. Being too lazy to put it in another folder other than "downloads", I immediately start it up. Right off the bat, I get my ass handed to me on Metal man's. But of course, with enough time and playing, I got better. I soon met Blaze and Dragoon, and the rest they say, is history. Fuck that cliche.

That's assuming big time. Show us the screenshots or it doesn't count for crap. Or at least tell us the results so that we can probably believe you. If tails lost to you, then Tails should have no problem admitting it.

Update for Stonefunk to use on the front page. It's recommended that you make the image a spoiler, since it is quite big (1500x800).

I also said the best way to hide porn was to save it as a 16000 by 9000 bmp so that no one has enouph RAM to open the 50gb image file.
Well that's something I've never quite heard before. Thanks for the protip.

That's implying I was an ally of yours. Not saying you're an enemy, but yeah dude, we don't play in the same servers often.
And finally, after some heckling by Rtist, and listening to Yoshimi and Alive 2007 nonstop, I've completed...
