I guess I must ask one last question.
What is the purpose of the Unfaded clan?
Originally, IRWC was created to gather world-class skillful players, as well as great contributors to this game and the community. In a sense, Blaze wanted us to be like role models or something. Kinda weird, but at least we got the talent part right. I think.
Also, avatar is now changed back to the Joker. Have fun.

It's good to see you guys are getting organized after Lonewolf's and Rtist's departure. I still think Rtist is you, Muzaru By the time the next team tournament comes by, I hope to see you guys in top form.
The Joker will come by either tomorrow, when this topic is closed, or when I damn well feel like it. It sure is clan-related talk in here... And no, I don't mean there are questions about clans...

Well, seeing as how your leader is gone (I think) and he was a major attacking force (I know), I say your best bet at lasting is not being competitive, but being close friends. Just like GOL.

I also miss Blue being the Joker....

I also miss that too, but breakdancing bear> sadistic maniac any day of the week.

Wait, how does terminator mode work?

Terminator mode is basically deathmatch with an exception: there is an orb on the field. If you acquire this orb, your weapon power and health are greatly raised. The person who has the orb is the "terminator". If you manage to kill the terminator, it counts as ten frags.

Just how many clans are there that play mm8bdm?

Depends on your definition of a clan. Do you a "serious" one like IRWC, or something more like a tag, like The Agents. Let's see...
I'll just count the amount of groups I have seen.
IRWC/GOL/soon to be MOON, named after THE GREATEST PLAYER OF ALL TIME
CS (custuff(acted as a tag, I think))
Fenga ("troll" clan)
Unfaded
TBG (the blue generation)
The agents
the kappins
Inaflklan (another troll clan made up by Mugenmidget to, successfully, troll Blaze)
ORA (one ran army)
aaaannnndddd most recently, cooldude. Used by T's inventions and sly cooper.
That pretty covers the amount of tags I've seen in this game. I'm not including skulltag groups such as MLK or A3. There have been a lot of people I've seen pass by this game. Makes you wonder what new clan/group will come next.

A little history lesson (which nobody probably knew) of where the name came from. At first, it was more or less out of the blue when VXLoneWolfXV decided to create a guild/clan deal. Originally he wanted to call us the Mavericks, and durin' that time the first 4 members/leaders all had to agree on a name. I was the only one opposed to "Mavericks" since I feel it's just an overused word. We (Muzaru, LoneWolf, Stiki, and me) then brainstormed some other ideas. Some of the rejected names include: Kingdom, Freedom, Free, Pure, Timeless. Timeless was suggested by me, but only rejected by Stiki (used to be MM8). He did like the concept of "Timeless" however, and we eventually reworked the word to Unfaded.

Some trivia facts:
When we were comin' up with the name. we all went to an empty server at Dive Man's stage. Wolf had to go afk and the map switched to Gyro Man because of the time limit from the server. Later, it went to Blizzard Man when the 3 of us presented Unfaded to LoneWolf after he came back from his business.

That's it. Slash the fucking thread. The answer has been delivered. Everyone can go home now. Or we could continue to talk about clans and stuff. I mean, that's all this whole topic has been.

No, but it sure would have been cool.
BTW, I can now confirm the reason behind UNFADED's name. According to Saviorsword, it IS because it sounds cool. He was going to list a second reason, but I never really saw it. Or maybe, he never actually wrote it. Either way, I'm now content with this topic.

Damnit TailsMK4, you made me cry... from laughter. We aren't infamous, we're just a bunch of good idiots without a cause.
Dragoon, as for finding a good server, I recommend any of the Deathwind's servers. Remember Brandon's 24/7 server? Take that, multiply it by 3, and have each server work for a different popular game mode. Also, add a large amount of players (there are more players in one server than I ever saw in the entire demo) and many wonderful people with different personalities.
However, there is one server that is so MANLY, so AWESOME, so GODLY, that the person who hosts it just happens to be the GREATEST PLAYER OF ALL TIME. OF ALL TIME. When you have the chance, and when it's up, come visit The Moon, where you'll find entertainment or your money(sanity) back.
Someone get an answer from Saviorsword about the meaning of UNFADED. I'm really curious now.

What a bro he was, helping recruit good players, making us a real clan on the skulltag forums, and always making wise decisions. To be honest, he is probably the best leader, period. Here's to you and your EVENTUAL return to this game.
Staying on topic... What was the idea behind naming the clan Unfaded? We gave our reasons for IRWC/GOL and it would be interesting to hear how you guys thought of the name.

How did IRWC turn out?

Welp, the clan never really broke apart. We simply changed the tag from IRWC to GOL. Our main reason was because we wanted to change our name to something less weird.
IRWC= Insurgent Robots of Wily and Cossack
Who the hell would remember that?
GOL= Guardians of Light
Simpler and, how you say, "gooder".

Two of those teams were made JUST for the touney. The only real clans, in my opinion, are (TBG), (GOL), and Unfaded. The Agents seem like a group of people who just want to have fun and enjoy this game, rather than become a really serious clan.
And on the topic of good internet helping a player become good...
BULLSHIT. I have a ping above 100 almost all of the time and I'm still able to fight well against many of the players in this community.
