Thanks for the feedback FCx.

It's hard to tell from ebay, as many if not most of them don't have a return policy.
I guess I could ask them however if it will work on my NES, but I think I have to commit
myself to buy first. I guess it's worth a shot with a game that isn't so expensive.
I've been wanting to make my collection bigger, and ebay Australia only offers so much,
but I have found some gems through them.

Hey everyone, it's me again.

I jumped on here curious about region-specific areas with the old NES and SNES.
I'm from Australia so I use PAL, but I was wondering, could I buy games from the UK (also PAL)
and have them working on my NES or SNES?

I know that NTSC will simply not work (unless we have master hackers or some port) but I was hoping that
I could get UK games working on my consoles. You see, unfortunately ebay items in Australia
only have a limited amount when it comes to games, but bigger (well in population) areas like the UK
seem to have a lot more variety.

Hey Kenkoru, nice nice.
I haven't heard the last boss theme to Shadow of the Ninja, coz I kinda wanna get the game and experience the music by surprise when I get to the final boss.  

Also I like your Tales of Symphonia music, but it sounds more like stage music if I may say so. Still good though.

All right, one more and then I'll let others post more before me.

A bit different, this theme always had me on edge, but I like how it keeps its espionage feel to it, rather than a "whoaaa heavy metal riff in your face coz this bad mofo is gonna tear you a new one!" sorta thing. Both kinds are good though (the themes I mean, lol).

Wow, so many younguns (damn, makes me sound old, lol) nah.
I voted 25. I am the 1%, lol.

I first played Mega Man 1 in 1994 when I was 8. Sure the game was already old by then, and the X series kicked off, but I'm glad I started with the very beginning. I became a fan very quickly. My first gaming console was the Atari 2600. It was old when I started playing it, but still being widely played.

God fucking damn it I love this song.

Pokemon XD: Gale of Darkness is my personal favorite Generation III game, for good reason.
The AI is smart, the Pokemon selection is cool, and songs like this make you just wonder.
I view this song as "Rock Concert + Stayin' Alive" in my mind.

Lotad and its evolutions are also some of my favorite Pokemon, so you can't imagine the smile on my face when I fought this guy. I remember him being in Colosseum with a similar situation, but I don't remember his theme at all. It may be the same, if so, screw me.

I've been playing through this game recently, and my current team really impresses me, even if it doesn't really impress others.

Unlike the mini boss which sounded more fun and more relaxed, this theme tells you "shit just got real" lol. I love this game. One of the best I ever played on the SNES.

Wow, so many great boss tunes just overnight, I am liking this!  
Epic Kirby, your selections have been quite good. The first one you linked was very unique, and I've never heard anything like that before (especially a song for a boss music). The Final Fantasy one was very cool, thanks for the share, and of course Wily Machine from MM10 is one of my personal faves, along with MM4 and MM7 wily capsules.

Kenkoru, that's an interesting boss theme that changes. My fave was the heroes about to achieve victory.  

And yes, I have listened to every single one, keep 'em coming! The Kirby ones sound great, and I have to say that Skyward Sound sounds amazing.

I haven't actually played this game, but it sounds awesome. You can tell a lot of the 8 bit artists of the day were inspired by heavy metal for some of their music. This game is worth checking out, even if for just the music.

Capcom sure know how to make boss music sound epic! This could easily fit a Wily boss battle I reckon. I remember getting up before my parents just to play this game. Those were the days.  :)

We all have our favourite games, but what about favourite boss music?
Even if it was in a game that isn't one of your faves, it could still be on the top list of best boss music?
All right, I have quite a few, but I'll start with one (should probably limit one per post?) and a little
explanation as to why you like it so much. Let's begin.

I'll be honest and say this was my fave game in 1994 onwards, but to this day the boss music compliments the actions happening quite well, and works well with an already amazing soundtrack.

I'd say given the explosions and destruction it caters to both genders. Then again, who doesnt like explosives?

So far i'm having plenty of fun with it. Do wish it had more levels, but i suppose the difficulty settings and unlocked things tend to make up for it. So much explosions...

That game reminds me a lot of this classic!

This game only had 4 stages but they were hard as. Even with two players, I still can't clock this game.

It sort of makes me think of a game that's a mix of Mario, Zelda, and metroid all in 1

I loved Uforia!
Where you could control four different characters.
Ah man, I almost forgot about that game, thanks for the post.  

EDIT: There's a part in the first track you hear that sounds like Zelda 2. Though it sounds a lot like Blaster Master, which is no surprise seeing as this is developed by Sunsoft as well.
As soon as the cave music started, I began humming it. I haven't played this game since 1996!
I wanna get this game now, if I can find it on the NES (on PAL).

Llama is flame, call and the animal.
I speak Spanish but even I overlooked that the "llama" in his name represented "flame."
It was even in his DP. /facepalm hahaha.

Despite this show was cheesy, I've looked at bits and pieces from the Japanese Rockman series, and it turns out the Japanese take almost everything too seriously, even kids shows. They love adding drama etc. and in a way, I have fond memories of the American version. So many one liners like "May I... cut in?" by Cut Man or "You're toast!" by Roll when beating Cut Man with a toaster.

I am also reminded (though I never saw it as a kid) of the Legend of Zelda cartoon, where they made Link out to be some dumb, horny teenager, lol. It's funny though.

SMB3

World 8 is IMPOSSIBLE without certain items or cuz i suck

SMB3 is the hardest Mario game I ever played. So much that I was cursing half of the time, but when I clocked it, I immediately thought "this was one of the best games ever!" lol. I don't remember special powers, all I remember is that World 8 was a "@#%#@!" so much so that the last boss was easy in comparison. I also hated World 3 in that level where you're in the frog suit escaping the giant fish. I rage just remembering it, aaaarrghhhh! lol.

Has anyone found a random hat while playing? It happened to me for the first time the other day.
I got the er, antler for the pyro. I thought only weapons could be found during game time?
Unless someone donated it to the map? But yeah, just thought I'd share.

Bonk Helm and Ze Goggles.

What server are you guys playing on? I've only found one hat, and I have pretty much all the weapons.
I had to craft my Ze Goggles with reclaimed metal and a medic token.
I was hoping for the Medic's Stahlnhelm or the plague doctor's mask, lol.

But yeah, seriously, if you have a fave server, let me know and I might be able to catch a game with you guys.

Well sir, I just started playing this last week since I now have a computer capable of it.  While I generally hate FPS's (except MM8BDM of course), this game is great!  I adore how every class is radically different and yet (from my experience anyways) none of them seem to horribly outshine the others.

I usually play as Pyro although I'm usually at my best as the team Medic.  I bought a hat for cheap today using the dollar left over in my steam wallet so I have the pro version.  If anybody wants any crates, go ahead and hit me up as I have three and don't intend to buy keys.  I've also got an extra flare gun although I highly doubt most people need it.

Pyro is my fave too, though I've over played him so I'm trying to play more of other classes. Second fave is Engineer.
