Anything Goes / Re: Yo soy Llama Hombre.

Greetings once again Llama Hombre! I wasn't sure if you were Spanish or not (or if you were a man who Llama killed people a lot, lol).

Como estas? Yo hablo Espanol tambien, pero no soy bueno para escribir tanto en Espanol (I speak Spanglish at home, lol). I was born in Chile, how about yourself?

Bien benidos a el forum de cortar cosas (Cut stuff, lol!). Would Mega Man in Spanish be just "Mega Man" or "Hombre Mega"? lol. In Spanish, Bat Man is Bat Man, but for some reason they translated Spider Man to Hombre Arana. Why translate one and not the other? Oh well, welcome once again.  :p

Alright, I'll try it.  :D

Cool! Let me know how you go.  :D It was harder on difficult too, coz every shot took off twice the amount of health against you. I forgot to mention too...

I agree, after three or more goes, areas and challenges like Quick Man's beams and Concrete Man's elephants are relatively easy. Those who moaned to me how hard the elephants in Concrete Man's stage were were probably people who have never played Mega Man before (or rarely played those types of games). I dunno, I could be being biased though.

Ahh, I could never clock the Adventures of Link.   I haven't played it in years, but I remember I got past a swamp and went into another castle, but I forgot what else happened.

With the Alien in MM2, you have to sort of run towards it and jump and shoot. When you jump, it should be just in time to jump over his shot. Then you continue running near the edge of the screen and dodge his other shot. Then you run back towards him and repeat. Sounds easier than it is, but with some practice, you'll nail it.  :D

Random? But, but... water beats fire?  :p Now I'm waiting for people to start using Pokemon, lol.

Interesting, i'd have to check that out when I replay MM7.

I noticed that originally, Mega Man's colours were dark blue and an almost aqua-like colour. From MM9 onwards (or MM7 onwards actually, it represented more of a cyan colour that we know now.

It's hard to notice, but the distinction is there.

I think Minecraft needs craftable beds. And using it changes your spawn point to the last used bed.

I agree to this! This would be very handy (kinda like how it loads where ever you exited the game) except you have a "bed" that becomes your new spawn point when you die. Though it shouldn't be like Oblivion where you can make time go past. That would defeat the purpose of "facing the night" if you could skip it all, lol.

Ahh yes, the dreaded Ninja Gaiden last level. @_@ I swear that game took me AGES to finally clock. I still can't beat number 3 (it's even worse, lol).

As for respawning enemies... Medal of Honor: Allied Assault. Either that or one of their expansions, the enemies would respawn so often that you would sometimes enter a new room and see them appear out of thin air. It was one of those annoying scenarios where you had to move forward for them to respawn less. On top of that... they never friggin died! -rage- lol. =P

Mega Man Discussion / Re: The ultimate test in Mega Man Music knowledge!!!!

Wow, this was an interesting quiz! I had trouble with Mega Man 8 (as I never played it before) so I had to guess most of them at the end, except I knew Tengu Man and Frost Man's themes already.

I was going fast at first, but some of them trumped me (I actually forgot Turbo Man's name at one point with a mind blank, which was pretty annoying, lol!).

I finished with a remaining time of 06:18, and got all of them correct (not flawless but you know, lol).

I'm curious to know if the Yachishi means anything, or if it's just something Capcom came up with. Oh yeah, I found one in Wave Man's stage on MM8BDM, hehehe.

After playing all the MM games again, I never realised something in MM6.
After you defeat all eight robot masters, if you replay the stages, Tomahawk Man, Yamato Man, Knight Man and Centaur Man's stages get alternative colours. Incidentally, they're the four stages that hold the Beat parts (to get them you need to find alternative boss doors).

Yashichi/Pinwhell was actually an enemy in another Capcom's game. Later it made cameo appearances in various Capcom Games. In Megaman games, it reloads EVERY WEAPON you have and your health.

Ahh right, it originated from another game. I'd have to look this up. Oh yeah, I've only seen it in Mega Man 1 though, and yeah, it acts like an M tank does in more recent MM games.

This one seems obvious, but I never noticed how Yamato Man shoots his spearhead, and he then runs towards it to retrieve it. I never noticed it before, and just thought it was his running attack or something.

I clocked MM6 again just then. I completed MM1-6 with buster only (on pretty much all the bosses) but I was allowed to use charge shots, lol. Even though I never played MM6 as a kid, I got some odd feeling while nearing the end of MM6. It was quite symbolic, and even the sad-like music of Dr. Wily's theme was making me think... this was the end of MM on the NES, and it's kinda sad to think that.

In the end though, they had to say "To be continued" to let fans know there was going to be another one. And who would have thought that after 7 and 8 (years gone by) that they would come back to the NES style? Now my question is... will Mega Man end soon? Or he will he live on and fight for everlasting peace?  :p
