MM8BDM Discussion / Dumb question but...

Seeing that the next version will focus on MM10, does that mean we will be seeing stages based on the Megaman Killers too since they were part of 10's dlc.

If so, would even Quint get his own stage even if he was'nt featured alongside the other Megaman Killers in 10?

The megapack has been updated again with Muffet from Undertale.

I have also added a whole new skinpack for The Felt mafia gang from Homestuck. That's a whole 15 characters of skins and bots for your enjoyment!

A new version, a new update.

Sadly I haven't been very active since I've been so busy with Uni work, not to mention spriting for another fangame, Power Bomberman. (it will very soon cap of at 200 characters from the series history!)

Regardless, having recently enjoyed One Shot (the plot is SO GOOD) I could'nt resist making it's lovable hero. Enjoy!

UPDATE: Now I've also added Shademan.exe to the chunk of characters. Wh-wheeee!!!

Ok this is weird, I renamed all the files into CDAL (Cognitive Dissonance ALinivar),
but...

OMG now I know what the problem is! I have a unfinished backup wad of the same character. XD

Is it possible the core game has a sprite collection already called ALIN, and my files are disturbing them?

I'm back, and have been busy doing some new skins for MM8BDM including Vic Viper, Big Core, Cacodemon, and Alinivar from Cognitive Dissonance.

Problem is Alinivar keeps giving me problems, and now I can't even open MM8BDM due to it.

his sprite files are named ALIN, and despite having all sprite names correct, the game keeps insisting he is lacking ALINB rotation sprites, despite having the correct ALINb1, b8b2, b7b3, b6b4 and b5 frames.

Now, even if I don't load the skin into MM8BDM, it keeps crashing the game.

What have I done wrong?

I gotta say that figuring out what to do about the attack sprites was tricky until I figured out that I could have her use her Gengar for attacks, and the Gold/Silver map sprites of Gengar works perfectly.
