I have some ideas on maps for the Halloween packs, but I'm a lousy mappers.
Since we'll have Castlevania and Ghosts n Goblins, they should have their own stages...
The Castlevania stage I imagine, would be seperated by two small castle structures connected by a balcony area with a long bridge (like stage 3 and stage 6), the garden from stage 4 at the ground floor with the entrance gate and statues from the intro and beginning of stage 1, and ofcourse, a lower route through the caves and sewers.
The two castles would be based one the first 3 stages of the game, while the latter would be made up of the last 3 stages.
Castle 1 Has the Entrance Hall and Sewer entrance from Stage 1 with the upper floor being the Chapel and torture chamber from Stage 2 with an outside balcony based on stage 3.
Castle 2 would have the corridor before Frankensteins Monster as it's entrance chamber with Frankensteins Room acting as an entrance to the sewers. The upper floors would be the Dungeons and Art Room from Stage 5 with the balcony being based on the first part of stage 6.
BUT
The bridge connecting the upper part of the castles have the ClockTower in the middle, inside their are lots of the cogs and such, but also a sidepath that takes you to the famed stairs leading up to the Castle Keep with Dracula's Chamber.
The weapons could be the closest equals to the Castlevania Weapons we can get and ofcourse... Rain Flush being a substitute for... HYDRO STORM~
----------------------
The Ghosts n Goblins stage would be more complex and open. The game takes place in the Infernal Demon Village and would have a village like feel. The central part of the stage would be a town square, perhaps with the iconic tombstones, but around would be some houses from Stage 2, and exits out of the town that are closed of, but outside you could perhaps see the ice towers from stage 2 and the forest from stage 1.
The Square would have a balcony like area with some stairs going down to a port like area with stone walls from Stage 3 and 4 and maybe another house at the tiny port.
At the square, there is also a large castle looking building which is a large chamber with looks from Stage 5 & 6, and finally, a small room resembling Astaroth's Final Boss chamber. That small room would lead to a small graveyard just outside that leads to the square aswell...
...
Maiby I should draw out a map instead... :S
