I still think, megaman games are not that hard....crazy how people think they are like very good in gaming just because they have finished megaman 1 (can do it without lose 1 life), megaman games are not so hard and have sometimes easy pattern....
It's not easy too, but not like if it was a game like some shoot'em Up where you die in 1 hit.... (i mean, some kind of games are really harder in the concept).
Some megaman games are really hard, megaman 3 with the docrobot, they can be very dangerous (not so easy to jump over them to dodge), megaman 7 with some boss, megaman x6.
Again, when you know the pattern, its again easier...

But yea, the fact is you can die quickly (mm1 elecman or spikes), but like if it was a big science.....
I say that because some people feel so pro because they have finished mm2, the best mm of all time, just kidding. (i think mm3 is more complete and epic for the classic).
There is mmx3 who is a great challenge, some boss in mega buster only can be a pain (the mecha frog thing...).

You can find it easily on the internet, i think. Because DVD doesnt have english subtitles..... and stream can be very complicate to understand (beast too)......

EDIT: Well, Duke Nukem Megaton Edition was removed from steam and gog.....sad and..it doesnt work in my steam.....damn.. :/

What about the random episodes who use a crazy "funny" like the cars/trucks who become animals in stream....sometimes, you can have some episodes who are not logic, or just fantaisy style with nothing logic, even in Axess or Stream but not often, still fun to watch ^^ : 3

Sure, the anime was awesome too but try to get the japanese version with english subtitles, must be not hard to find it.
In Rockman EXE Axess, they have deleted some original themes, like the one of the soul unison, with an other one who is just very bad "techno" type music......
The part with the tournament or gospel was ok but a bit boring sometimes but i loved Rockman EXE Axess and Stream.
Axess and Stream had a lot of actions part.
Beast too but the story was weird in a way, you will see but still very good (with the Beast too!)

I remember how DBZ has a modified version of the japanese music with a trance/techno style (bruce faulconer), not bad but not as epic as the original ones (like the theme of the fight vs Ginyu or Gohan vs Cell Jrs.

Well, i suppose i wad mad for nothing, i don't really care about those games, but i anticipe often when i will host a stand with some retrogames because people critic often the games I host "old games with bad graphism" and other stuff, about mm8bdm and others I host, so when i will host a stand, im often scared by that, but i suppose i need just to explain them why i host it (the gameplay of those retro fps had a very cool style for a lot, and can be very deep (like BLOOD or Shadow Warrior).
People here judge often on the apparence of the classic (retro) fps I host, it's awful.
As always, i will try to explain the point of those games and how they are still fun to play because it has his own style and still very fun to play...without juding the nextgen fps and others : P
It could be bad and ridiculous...but it's sad when people judge your games only because "old graphism", it's always the problem People can have with retro gaming....
Not a big deal anyway, since they are not a lot to critic about the apparence (maybe 5-10% ?)

Being passive like that wont help you to have a sens of critic.
I give up. Let's wait for a Rockman Xover 2 or something like that.
But i hope we will get better game in nextgen and more choices.
Also, when i see people who want realistic games where it starts to be so much realistic It starts to have a lot of limits in the gameplay and exploration (like those fps who are pretty linear like Duke Nukem Forever).

Well, you can have the last word, i don't care You know, i still don't like how some videogames companies ruins their licences (Xover, Sonic Boom) but i still hope for the best.
Crazy how we must be only positive in this forum, i still said a part of truth (even musashi noticed those things, even if it's in a less negative way than me).

But yes, better to give up because we can't debate there without having a PERSONNAL opinion or we can look like a tyran.
I like how some people there wanted the death of some mods like saxtonhale mod (or others) and defend games like candy crush or COD.
So bikdark, you dont have any credibility and i can't take you seriously (some others people too), so yeah, i suppose it's a dead "debate", it was fun to talk english with english people like you, baaah.

You compare beautiful games with the ones i said (COD, Candy Crush), you dont understand the point of what i have said.
You compare games who was made with passion and soul, the bad games I have said are made just to make "game because they must make game" but specially to get easy money.
There is a different thing, between, making cheap games to get easy money and making nice games to get gamers who want some fun and usually money to help the company.
Now, money stuff, it seems it starts to take over a lot of importants things like licences, videogames, moral value in videogames.

And Yes, Capcom and some others companies made a lot of games like that (mario bros too) but it's was very good games for the past (8, 16, 32bits) we didnt have so much possibilities like now, and we have still a ton of good games in the past.

Megaman wasnt a easy profit, it was just a licence who was pretty good and not cheap. They didnt have the same possibilities than now, you know, Yellow Devil.
And now they have a lot of possibilties but they dont try to make good games because they dont want take risk, like with megaman, they prefer make only street fighter games and others things like that to be sure to win, not just money, but A LOT of money.

About SF, yes, Street Fighter Alpha 3 was maybe a commercial game like you say about megaman battle network or classic, but at least, it has a lot of playable characters and a lot of possibilities, awesome game with solo, multiplayer (not online in the past), like mmbn, it was commercial (specially with the goodies), but the game was an excellent strategy/action game.
Same with the mm classic who were very good, even mm&bass, right? (: snes stuff.
At least, a game like SF Alpha 3 has a good solo mod i remember. ^^

And keep your insult for you, again because you dont understand the debate and the problem.

Specially when the good part of videogames is forgotten and not present anymore.
For now, there is still some good nextgen game but not that much... Companies want make easy profit now as i said.
We will see in the future, it could become worse with the domination of Ios games in the market.

 I don't say i would it dead but the fact it takes all the spots and the time of the programmers (of Sega, Capcom and others), is really sad. Instead of making awesome games, we get dumb stuff like Rockman Xover and others. Better to make a real new megaman, right ? But they want so much easy money, better to use easy method to get money faster and without taking risk, it wasn't the case in the 90's/2000's.

And i think, people who play nextgen game without to know a little how is retrogaming is a mark of lack of culture, gaming is not just piewpiew uzi in counter strike or call of duty at Esport or puzzles and dumb games of Ios, those games who are spammed on facebook with candy crush and others poor stuff.
Video-games is more than that, it's a full culture, with a story.

trying to kill the sens about critic is what who will kill the quality of video-games, you will have still videogames, but the way You are passive with what happen really will make you play with dumb' stuff.

I dont say we need to delete all those bad games, but if the companies stop at making ONLY this kind of stuff, it could be nice.

Metroid Prime Federation Force, Megaman Legacy Collection, Umbrella Corps, who are not liked by the real community of gamers, are result of what happen in the world of videogame. (specially for the first and third one, the second one is a result of a cheap market [MMLC is just a bugged emulator], also, we can talk about the domination of pajamas who play Call of duty and others fps like it).

If they dont try to make better games, because they can do it, also yes, cheap market and bad games will continue to made over the good games who could be done, the politic of the companies of the videogames start to be very bad. (i must say, since some years ago yet....so few stuff).

We can have a COD or Candy Crush, but the fact some companies try to copy those methods, with Rockman XOver for the Ios, Umbrella Corps for the COD-like, Ubisoft who want to do the same in the future, same with Sega too. It scared me a lot.

You know, it's like the world of movies, Ghostbuster remake was made only with women, why ? Because they needed to make something choking "Women so rebel and badass omggggg", a lot of old movies and others stuff like that, are ruined because people dont know what is the essence who made a serie/movies so cool, so they bought the copyrights and do it like they want, with modifying everything at 80% and ruin it because it's a good crazy thing for them..... But it's an other subject.
And yeah MMBN is a copy, kind off too, but the quality is really there at least...and anyway, it's an other world, not the same as megaman with megaman X.....i didnt like MM star force because we have seen a garbage in one of those game where the P.E.T were in.......let me think, they wanted replace MMBN with MMSF ? Certainly, and it was a fail. It's like MMZ/ZX who kill our heroes, so ugly, but again, it's an other debate.

Again, you can have casual stuff or cheap stuff but i have the feeling it starts to dominate the world of videogaming. Counter strike: Skin dlc at 5$ or more, by exemple...
In the past, we had free shareware and a DLC was called "ADD-ONS" for pc games, now it's just a way to secure them with the method of DLC, they can see if people are really interested by their games and then they can add more contents quickly......but again, i dont feel it really positive, they need to be more courageous.

Look how 32maps wad in doom of a good quality, made by some guy, can be just FREE! (and no, doom is not outdated, doom is still very modded and has still awesome FREE mods.
I suppose, not all the companies are like that, and inde games try to do some things, we will see. For now, i try to not be passive and i try to check sometimes what happen, it's interesting.

It's funny that you say that, i thought you hated mods or games who didnt require any skill.
Looks ironical... but maybe you changed.
The problem is when people start to like those stuff, companies will make more games for this kind of gamers (so, gamers who have a the passion of videogames, will be forgotten), so less games for people who want interesting games, more Ios puzzles games, more COD mappack for 80$ ect...

It's like when i see Nintendo, i think Nintendo is style original and better than PS4/Xboxone, they have still their own personnality (at least) but compared to snes and others, Nintendo was become very casual, before, you had maybe 80% games who needed skill, where you needed to be involved with passion, and 20% easy games, now it's 60% of casual games everywhere and 40% of game who can be interesting.... (Halo single player please.. :')

We need all the types of gamers, but i think, too much of this philosophy is not really good.

EDIT: Also, i dont force anyone to play the game (or a mod) they dont want, each one do what they want, it's up to them, im just saying the world of videogaming become poor compared to the 90's the beginning of the 2000's, that's all, take it right. It's more to the devroom to make good videogames without to think the people are naive sheeps ! ; )
