Okay, so Myroc put in a request for me to make powered up textures a while back and it's finally reached the top of my to do list.  Problem is I'm having a hell of a time finding stage maps for this game which makes it a real pain in the ass to work on.  Any idea where I can find something like that?  I've already checked the VGMaps.com, Sprites Inc. and the Spriter's Resource.

I'm back, and I bring you a new tileset. This one was a special request from Blaze, posted at the start under the new folder 'other'.

The next request in line was for powered-up mm1 tiles, which I'll start working on... soonish.  Finding good references for this game is proving rather tricky.

Yes, I'm moving this week so things are rather hectic.  When I get more time I'll finish up the special request from Blaze which is already in progress.  Myroc also previously asked me to make new tilesets to replace the old ones currently being used in the powered up pak.  Your request is in line after that.  Also keep in mind that all of this of course has to be done in my free time and my work schedule (I freelance) looks to be significantly busier in the coming months than it's been most of this Summer when I was cranking out a new set every few days.

TL/DR:  It's going to be a bit of a wait if you want me to do it.  No hard feelings if you'd rather get things rolling sooner with someone else.

Actually the textures alignment issues look fine in ogl, but out of whack in software.  Hmm.

As for the trench, why can't you make the 'secret door' area 3 tiles wide instead of 2 or just add an extra block to either side of the door?

Though I also think you could make more use of the textures I already provided.  If you tell me the exact dimensions of the 'secret room, I'll slap together some larger textures from the various wiring kibble so it's not just tiled with the same stuff that's everywhere else.

Some observations:

1)  The trapdoor seems to be instant death as I never land on the platform.
2)  Texture alignment needs some tweaking (background behind trees and the one wall were the 'circles' are split in half at top and bottom.
3)  Fire telly effect probably lasts a bit too long.
4)  The 'post' where the grass texture reveals just a part of the blue circle texture looks really odd.  I suggest changing the shape of the grassy area so that the post lands on solid ground with a lip around the edge.
5)  Why is there a thin inaccessible trench of grass along one side of the 'boxes' area?
6)  I'm suprised you didn't use any of the little foliage textures to decorate the grassy areas.  Was it just too cluttered?

Would you like me to remake the ladders as doublewide tiles since you never use them in singles?
How about a second grass texture to make the height differences stand out a bit?

Heh, if I made the textures that little sizing problem would probably be the least of your concerns.  I know NOTHING about the process of actually making the texture files, stages, coding, etc; I just do art assets and leave the other work to more capable hands.

How do you know the comments were all about my work?  For all you know LLama meant you.

Soshi Breaker looks pretty good, but it's probably a bit too colorful.  White, yellow, red, black, gray, and two blues... try cutting that down a bit.

Hell, I forgot that NES sprites should actually be 3 colors + invisible (otherwise it's actually 2 sprites, like all the robot masters), so my deck gun needs trimming down as well.  Oh well, so much for the gray bit.

Magic Man needs to be recolored to change with weapons, but otherwise looks really good.
