Anything Goes / Re: $#!% Cutopians Say - The Quote Thread
« on: June 25, 2014, 09:44:19 AM »
When I first saw this thread I thought it was for quoting other cutstuff members. I was kind of disappointed to find out otherwise.

I will have to agree with Bikdark*, this thread doesn't really have a reason to exist. While I don't have anything against everyone's Original Characters(TM), the Character Catalog thread could easily be expanded to encompass all sorts of fanworks related to them, whether or not the characters themselves, short stories, and any other miscalleny. It does not need a separate thread.

*I did not think I would utter these words within my lifetime.

Best obit. This must be used.
All obituaries follow the pattern of "X [died to] Y's [Weapon]" for consistency. It's much easier to discern who's killed who with what this way, as you can just glance at the message from left to right to discern victim, killer, and weapon in the blink of an eye. It used to be that some weapons (such as Ring Boomerang) didn't follow this pattern; This caused a lot of confusion, which is why obituaries were standardised in the above manner.

Additionally, it's "karaoke" filter is rather dumb; when listening to Sonic Boom (, or petty much any Sonic CD music with voice clips), it removed everything EXCEPT the voices. -_-

I was going to wish you a happy birthday but I'm too busy having a grammar aneurysm.

"It's" is a contraction of "it is". Remove the apostrophe.

Back to Commissar Lord Bernn.

One of these days I am going to convince someone to play Dark Heresy with me.

So...I got around to actually beating the flash game Give Up, and...holy Crash Man am I glad I'm done with that. You heard me right. You are actually looking at living evidence that someone beat that game. I swear it was easier than the first 20 times I played it.
I think I'd like this game more if it didn't prevent me from double-jumping at seemingly arbitrary moments.

People rarely use four teams as it stands, and you want to add more of them?

*shrug*

I am honestly indifferent to this. I think both maps are perfectly fine, and I don't really care which one remains in the core.

A thought strikes me though. The old map's usage of fire traps was incredibly light and had very little impact on the map itself, something which I feel is an improvement with the new map. (Not that gimmicks for the sake of gimmicks is any good, that was one of the first lessons I learned while making Powered Up, but the new map makes good use of them without being intrusive.) It's possible that we can remove the fire traps from the old layout and repurpose it for another core map entirely in a future expansion. (Failing that, just slap it in a map pack and call it a day. It's not like server hosts are unwilling to use those.)
