The earliest I can recall meeting the "Blue Bomber" for the first time was at my local dentist's office when I was 7, where I played a copy of Anniversary Collection. All I can remember was playing MM1, choosing Cut Man's stage...and landing in a pit of spikes after being hit by one of those propeller enemies.  Some years later, after my discovery of ROMs and emulators, my love of the series was fully established.

While I do like the Mavericks a bit, I have to agree with Donugee. The RM's have more charm and personality, which makes them more three-dimensional by comparison IMO. Design-wise, once again the Masters win. Their designs are simple, yet interesting, and not plagued with inane color schemes *cough* MMX3 *cough*. As a challenge, the RM's seem harder to make flinch, which I think is ironic because X is supposed to be the more dark and serious series, yet its bosses fly across the room when X, Zero and Axl barely scrape them with their weaknesses. Ability-wise, the Mavericks use a lot of tricks to keep you on your toes, but rarely ever used the actual abilities you got from them, with a few exceptions. The RM's did a lot with whatever simple abilities they had, with few exceptions as well.(Air Man, you tornado-spamming bastard!D:<)

The only really REALLY inaccurate design I saw on the show was Bright Man, really.

Bright Man was awesome! What about Air Man or Ice Man? Or X?

Yeah, Bright Man did look pretty decent, but Air Man looks scarier than usual(Probably because he has a face this time.), and Ice Man looks rather bland. I still don't know why they gave him glasses.

Which group of baddies do you think is better than the other in terms of personality, appearance, ability and challenge(as a boss). Try to bring up specific examples of both groups. (IE: Shadow Man V.S Magna Centipede or something similar to this.)

The show as a whole was somewhat decent for it's time. The lame puns and one-liners are to be expected from a show such as this. Cut Man has a rather fitting voice in my opinion. (I've always imagined him as having an annoying voice. The same could be same could be said for Guts Man's stereotypical big guy/thug/henchmen voice.) The designs of some of the Robot Masters are kind of retarded(Especially Mega Man, who I swear has a permanent "derp" face), but they're pretty accurate overall. I still like this show, and occasionally I'd watch a couple of episodes.

Megaman10 Boss Theme.
Was very fitting.
Though, it wasn't really memoriable for me.

I agree. MM10's boss theme has a somewhat serious feel, but I don't think it's as hard-hitting as MM7, MM4, MM5 and MM8's boss themes. Besides, when it comes to serious, sinister and hard-hitting themes, I don't think anything will ever top MMX5's boss theme.

Mega Man Discussion / Re: Megaman 10, Worth It?

I think it was completely worth it. Though I still wish Capcom would add a bit more to the Mega Man formula to keep the series fresh, or take the "Mega Man 7 route" and update the graphics and change some of the gameplay mechanics. Hopefully, Mega Man 11 will bring something new to the party.

A rather decent hack of MM2. Personally, I like the designs of the RM's levels in this game than the original ones.(especially Quick Man's level redesign)
