The Ghoul's Forest / Re: The Hunter: My thoughts on him in V2B5

If that really happened, then it's a bug. It is supposed to be impossible for one normal arrow to kill a creeper with full health. So I think you must have been hit with something else, too.

Cyborg needs to recharge the fuel!
No, he doesn't.

I'm still going to stick by my opinion that GvH is balanced, just not in the way you think. "Jitter/sjasrape" only happens when a map is crowded. If a map is packed with 32 players, then it's obvious that on balance the Ghouls should be winning. Since they have powerful melee attacks, there is no other way this can play out. If you have been referring to uncrowded games, then all I can say is that I've seen Humans winning enough to say it's not grossly imbalanced.

A couple of things: As a jitter, I crunched a marine and a hunter (no ghostbusters) in one bite, and I did not get the chewing delay. Secondly, the tips still mention hunters' teleport which doesn't exist anymore.

The topic title is "overpowered," but the poll question is "underpowered." You'd better change something before you get a bunch of useless results. ;)

I'm impressed with the jitter nerf, as it's essentially what CarThief asked for (no effect in small games, big nerf in large games) just implemented differently. The lightning strike does seem useless so far, mainly because I've never been hit by it or been able to hit anything with it. :P

EDIT: Question: has the fire bow ROF changed since Beta 3?

Increasing the sjas' hitbox isn't an option because it can break maps.

Cheats? Rofl! I had already done the dash, but I wouldn't have thought of making a bind for grenade throws.

Maybe cutman added a screamer to it.
Do this, please!

*Facepalm*

I don't think that sprite came from either source originally.

EDIT: I'm having trouble finding a txt for eweps.wad, but I suspect it predates GvH.

Oh my bad. I guess I never saw it.

Yeah, I think there's one in every map or something. Nothing happens when you touch it, but that actually sounds like a really good idea....

Echoing a recent request on the ST forums,

I prefer playing GvH as...
1) Team last man standing
2) Team deathmatch

Jitterskulls need 110 health, chokes need to have 150 health.
At this instant, the only thing the choke needs is his own thread.

I agree with Frits. Know your enemy. I don't remember if he's done jitter, but I can say that he knows both sides of creeper vs. hunter.

Yeah, some people (including Cutman) think that makes it fair, since that's how non-GL users see.
