The Ghoul's Forest / Re: The Hunter: My thoughts on him in V2B5

Oh... him. Normally I'm just hoping he's not shooting me. D:

Ok I'll take his teleport away and just make it a damaging attack like the other two (a single bolt of lightning infront of him maybe). Also reduce the fire spin and ice damage. Originally I just wanted his attacks to be slightly different when you hit altfire, I guess I got a bit overboard!
Please just give the teleport a chance. It potentially has some neat applications, but I haven't seen anyone who's really good at it. They might as well be running instead. At this point we have no idea whether teleporting is OP or not.

On the other hand, if you measure accuracy by the amount of spread you get at long range (the inherent precision of the weapon), lightning is perfectly accurate.

Isn't that recoil?
No. Recoil is the amount of "kick" caused by firing the weapon. The only GvH weapon with recoil is the machinegun.

I'm get I abit annoyed at the wrong terms being used. Lightning arrows ARE super accurate. It's a railgun essentially after all. Your complaining more about the time it takes to use it, I think. None the less, I rarely ever see people use Thunder Arrows right. You don't aim at where the Ghoul is, you aim at where there going to go. It's all about prediction, same way you use Chokes Blood  Ball efficiently. Also never trust the crosshair, everything tends to fire about two or three crosshairs under the crosshair, sometimes I even get it bottom right of the crosshair. Doing some testing, it is in fact bottom right of the crosshair. Know these facts, predict the movements, and Thunder Arrows have deadly Efficiency.

Accuracy is measured by the percentage of how many arrows have hit out of how many have you fired, which is for lightning, terribly low.
On the other hand, if you measure accuracy by the amount of spread you get at long range (the inherent precision of the weapon), lightning is perfectly accurate.

I don't think the teleport is overpowered. It doesn't really make the hunter faster, it just makes ghouls lose track of him. Also he's not shooting while he's teleporting, so that removes a big threat. Teleporting is a completely new method of locomotion for humans, so I suggest allowing a little time to learn how to defeat it.

Oblacek is now updated to v5
I find it odd that Oblacek is the first to have b5, yet it's still using an old EW. Could you update that too?

iirc cutman was going to update ew after cd?? Because EW has never been updated.
The EW version that Oblacek uses is before even EW Final. It uses gvhwarclasses-beta4 and gvhwarmaps-beta4, but the latest files are gvhwarclasses and gvhwarmaps. Among the changes in the latest version is 150 health for chokes.

Do This sign:
Then color is C
Then diffirient letters match the colors
Example: ccName = Name
Test other latters after writing c and see what color does your name fit.

I didn't understand..... Can you put me another example?

If I want to put name making the Ligh part being yellow and the ting part being silver, How must it be done?
Change your name to cfLighccting.

The new additions to the human classes will have a terrible impact for the team balance, as people are going to be very interested in the new human abilities and will not care for balancing the teams so much.
This actually makes teams better for 32-player games.

Qent.

I really doubt the answers in this thread will be very surprising. :P

I thought at first it was the background, but it's still hard to read on a dark background:

Interesting, though.

1. Land.
2. Jump continually, so you stay in the air. Don't fly up or down.
3. Start moving in some direction.
4. Stop accelerating so you just keep drifting in that direction.

For fixing "sjas hax," I think NOGRAVITY is (and was) a good temporary solution. Obviously it would make the dive impossible. The silent glide and speed hack would still be possible, but since the sjas can no longer avoid obstacles on the floor or the ceiling (if he jumps to avoid something on the floor then he slowly drifts into the sky), it would give less of an advantage.

This is getting a little off-topic, but fly up/down controls are pretty important to the sjas, right?

Forward: T
Back: F
Move Left: F
Move Right: H
Fly Up: Z
Fly Down: X
Attack: Mouse1
Secondary Attack: Mouse3
SR50: Mouse2
