You keep the same 9 rows as it is on the current flag. The pattern would just be 6 rows with 6 stars and 3 rows with 5. Maybe...

6-5-6-6-5-6-6-5-6.

But that's beside the point. They're doing this so they can have a Republican state. One thing that does come out of it for them is the possibility of taking quite a few electoral votes away from California as well since they'll take a third of the population with them.

Alright, players have until the 21st. If all results come in sooner, then I will name the finalists for the event and plan for when they'll need to fight. And remember, it's top 8 overall. All 4 could come out of one group...or none could at all.

Alright, ladies and gentlemen, the Megalympic Games finally get underway with our first event, Individual Deathmatch. By a 6-1 vote, the second team drawing will be used for the Games.

For a refresher...

RULES (aside from those listed in post 1):

-5 minute timelimit, no fraglimit

-Players in the matchup only may choose the map, but the following maps are forbidden. Any results from these maps will not be considered valid: Maps not built into MM8BDM v2b, MM2QUI, MM2BUB, MM5GRA, MM5WAV, MM5GYR, MM7DW4

-Only the four competing players may take any part. Anyone caught jumping in to either kill someone or let someone else rack up points will be ejected and given an automatic strike. Any contestant/spectator who gets 3 strikes will be banned from 8-Bit Megalympic servers for the remainder of the Games.

-3 points to each heat winner, 2 points to 2nd place and 1 to 3rd place.

The top 8 overall scorers will move on to the finals.

Here are your matchups. Please finish these up and post results by next Thursday, July 21st, if possible. I have randomly drawn one player to sit out on each team with excess contestants. If a team wishes to sub someone out, they are free to do so and just get a screenshot with the results as usual with a note of who subbed for who.

On July 7th, matchups will be drawn and players in those matches will get one week to play their match. I will extend or shorten that time period as I see fit depending on how easy or difficult it is to get three other players together for one game during the week.

Reminder: Screenshots must come at the end of every match. If no player can or will take a screenshot, all competing players must confirm the same results.

The faster and simpler way: TAKE THE SCREENSHOT.

Computer troubles are now gone for me. I'm back and ready to finally host. Here are the rules for Megalympic Individual Deathmatch:

Aside from the server rules laid out in post 1:

-The contest will last 5 minutes. No fraglimit will be set.

-Each match will feature one player from each team.

-If you wish to not take part in this event, please post in this topic before Wednesday, July 6.

-Winning your match helps, but does not guarantee a place in the finals, which will feature the top 8 scoring players

Pending the results of the poll (which is now up) I will have the qualifying heat orders up following the deadline to step aside for this event.

I agree with rtist. The teams should be evened out first then drawn so there is no advantage due to the number of entrants in a group.

Well, when I put up that registration was due to end, Pieman showed, but that was it.

However, I did get a PM from Muzaru saying he had interest in joining. I told him I would consider it seeing we have shorthanded teams, but he alone can't fill both spots. If he gets someone else, they'll have heavier consideration for me allowing them to join.

EDIT: Wheelie Carbonite randomly chosen to move to Dr. Light team since Ninja/Samurai Sister's dropout put them at 4 members in the new drawing. Adjustments for 1st drawing will be made pending the vote.
