Perhaps if the area in between the rocks were darkened a little?

Well, this just gives mappers the initiative to choose tiles individually to suit their design. more options are never really a bad thing, I'd venture.

Looks really good

My only suggestion is to make the background a little redder

and also I think it'd be a good idea to settle on a standardized color design for the "S" logo in all the stages
