Anyway, I understand the point that you're trying to make, but at a certain point it's like trying to make a photocopy of a photocopy. The more you do stuff like that and draw from "non-canon" sources, the more you lose in translation until it doesn't feel all that much like Mega Man anymore. This is a big problem with certain other expansions too

That said, sure, a thing or three somewhere in power fighters or other 'alt' games might be good inspiration for the spirit of the thing, maybe.

But treating it like the word of god or a good template to follow overall, like tsuki for example is saying, that's more of a definitely bad plan..

Okay, so, Vyse issue aside, what was the status of this project?

Mr. X was ripping/coloring some tiles but got bored/quit.
CopShowGuy was maybe still working on some map related stuff?
BradeDude was doing some skins I guess
CutmanMike said he'd do the weapons, which is awesome, but he's obviously a busy guy at the moment so we won't see those for a while.
King Yamato also did a crapload of MMV weapons that are probably available to be included if we ask nicely, I do not know the quality of them but iirc Yamato has made several classes for the class mod so I expect they're at least reasonably well-made.
The_Broker has completed all botchats
Vyse was recoloring some of the tiles as well before the topic died

Have I left anything out?

Iceman's alt, while needing fixing, makes him actually feel like the robot master, and bombman basically is an incredibly one trick pony with no close range without his alt

(Starman really doesn't need one, though, especially if the robot master didn't do much else)

Would it be possible to make the 'camera' swing downwards somewhat when using a slide, so it feels less like charge kick and more like sliding??

Similar to the walking animation is less robot-ey dooms, I imagine it would be doable in some fashion, right?

I click get servers, it loads a few (but not all) and then stays grayed out for several minutes with no change to the list, before eventually returning to normal

Clicking again will sometimes load different servers, but it's difficult to load all of them that way.

It feels reminiscent of a port forwarding issue to me, but as far as I know there's no ports that need to be forwarded for doomseeker, right?

This all began when I moved and switched internet services/routers, but aside from ports I dunno how that could affect it.

Also, joining any servers I still have a perfectly reasonable ping etc

Is there any way to make them 'sticky'?

Obviously cutmanmike had issues with them but with the whole resources of the forum behind us, many of whom are pretty experienced as well, maybe there's a loophole around that whole business that hasn't been thought of
