MM8BDM Discussion / Narrowly escaping death is . . . noobish?

Tonight I was accused of being scrubby by one guy because I sometimes narrowly escape death (or "run away" if you prefer) and come back after collecting some health ups. Strategy, right?

Of course, I believe he was just upset because I kept beating him. But I want to make sure of something: Is it really noobish to run away? Is it noobish to barely escape death? I want to make sure I'm not winning just because I'm doing some unspoken thing that no one does because they think its "noobish".

Help & Editing / Deathmatch matches don't work (for me)

Hello, I'm RaviorTrebu (or Trebuchet). I've played the demo a lot in the past, and have just recently downloaded the full version.

I've tried several times to join an online Deathmatch, but it doesn't let me because I have an incorrect password or that I'm not using the right WAD.

How do I find the password for the server I want to join? Do I have to do this everytime I want to join a server for deathmatches? (the only thing that has worked for me is capture the flag). Also, how do I change my WADs?
