However, I still think the original Flash in the Dark is more superior to the original of We are the Robots.
To each his own. :)

Flash in the Dark is definitely my second favorite of that Wily Castle's tunes. My least favorite being Wily 3's, although that is still a good tune. It just feels kind of underwhelming after We're the Robots.

True, that's not boring, but that's a different arrangement, it is not the original.
Yeah, I know. I was saying that version isn't boring. ^_^ Guess I wasn't clear.

I do agree that the original 8-bit version is pretty quiet, but the melody and the instruments being used make it feel more epic for me.

My favorite version of We're the Robots is this right here:

We're The Robots Arranged + 8-bit Mix

Definitely not boring.

No wai, We're the Robots is better!
Preach it, brother.

Actually, I really don't care. If I want to hear We're the Robots, I'll just change the music on my server.

No, there's one Wily stage per game except MM1 because that game has less robot masters.
Maybe he'll make an exception?

Man, I'm going to be upset by the time MM9's expansion comes out.  I just know that We're the Robots will be in the Wily stage which makes me mad because Flash in the Dark is my favorite song in the entire series.
I'm sure there will be a Wily Castle Interior and Exterior level.

Great list, . . . but no "We're the Robots?"

I'm not complaining or anything, I'm just pointing it out. If I knew how, I would add it myself.

Help & Editing / Re: Deathmatch matches don't work (for me)

I downloaded it from the link that's in the tutorial thread.

On the bright side though, it seems I can play every other mode. Just not regular Deathmatch.

ALSO, I can join Deathmatches that I host. Things are looking up.

^ This should be found in the tutorial I posted earlier
Yeah, I did that. Three times, actually. I still have the same problems.

You need to set your Skulltag configy thingys, ignore Odamex.
How do I do this? I click on Skulltag, and it gives me the option to browse a folder or to get Doom. For the "browse folder" option, whenever I click on my MM8BDM folder (where everything is) it says that no IWADS were in that folder and says to select the folder that contains my copy of doom.wad or doom2.wad. I don't have either of those, and if I do, I don't know where they are.

For the "get Doom" option, it says I can either buy Doom from Steam for $10 (which I am not doing) or to use FreeDoom, but whenever I click on FreeDoom, it automatically loads Internet Explorer (which I don't use, not that it matters. ^_^) but then says that Internet Explorer has stopped working (which is very much like Internet Explorer).

I don't know what to do. And still, there aren't any MM8BDM games on Doom Seeker. Just Doom2's, Freedooms, chex, and plutonia.

I'm very sorry for all the questions. I'm just having so many problems with this, and I really want to play. I had so much fun with the demo, and was very eager to play the full version. It would be very disappointing if I couldn't have death matches online like I use to.

EDIT: I did everything you said to do in the setup and it still doesn't work. Actually, no Mega Man games are even being held. Everytime I double-click a game, it says I have no client executable specified for Odamex.

Help & Editing / Deathmatch matches don't work (for me)
« on: October 28, 2010, 09:40:05 PM »
Hello, I'm RaviorTrebu (or Trebuchet). I've played the demo a lot in the past, and have just recently downloaded the full version.

I've tried several times to join an online Deathmatch, but it doesn't let me because I have an incorrect password or that I'm not using the right WAD.

How do I find the password for the server I want to join? Do I have to do this everytime I want to join a server for deathmatches? (the only thing that has worked for me is capture the flag). Also, how do I change my WADs?
