great races you 2! ill be able to play later in the night... for now, i must leave!

combo, you made me lol so hard when i noticed you went to first person racing :ugeek:
I just wanted to look kewl for you FuPoo, since you use gyro controls like ALL THE TIME. I just wanted to look cooler, but then I realized first person wasn't for meeeeeee.

BACK TO THE ANALOG PAD FOR ME

My favorite part of online play is the VR now. It's great that if you end up with a pretty decent VR, you get to actually keep it, instead of losing like 500 points if you come in 2nd place like on the Wii version. I prefer this game's VR, saying "Hey, so this round went bad, we'll take like 6 points off" instead of the Wii's version telling you you suck for getting 2nd place or something.

General Gaming Discussion / Re: Pokemon Discussion thread!
« on: December 24, 2011, 06:13:44 AM »
I've been raising a lot of new Pokemon recently in Black version to try and make different themes. New guys include Qwilfish, Xatu, Yanmega, Sandslash, Zoroark, Clefable, Infernape, and a Timid Dragon Dancing Dream World Corphish I got from a very generous azn trainer. I know some of these guys aren't the best, but ya know what?

I wouldn't trade them for the world. They have their own strengths, and I like each and every one of them because they're all cool Pokebros I'd feel proud to train.

I've wanted to bring Pokemon from my Heart Gold version over, but without certain items on hand I don't feel ready to have them with me yet. Someday I'll be bringing my Elekid with me around Unova, if I could afford an item at the Battle Subway.

Merry Christmas Snake Ma... err, FuPoooooooooooo!

I did a quick thing for Christmas too, but it ended up being more of a winter accessory throw-on for a character. OH WELL.

And Merry Christmas to the rest of you Cutstuff, you're all dandy!

Actually, the lantern seems to be one of the better shaded portions of this piece to me, I dunno, I DUNNO. I'm not so sure about the green shading on the Poe's side, it looks like it could use just a bit more TLC compared to the lantern, but maybe that's how you shade a Poe? Maybe it's just me.

I will say you should totally do more of the black and white sprite work of Zelda enemies, then make a Macintosh styled Zelda text-based game. With your sprite work, i'd love to just jump in and be all:

>Use bottle
>Drink Poe
>Find priest

I already posted this up on Deviantart, but I'll show it of here as well since I'm feeling a bit better with my lineart recently. I think i've been improving in Photoshop recently after making the images i scan in enormous and working on them then. Anyway, forget that jazz, this is a piece I did for the Freelance Astronauts, coolest Lets Play dudes on the internet. Even Diabetus from Retsupurae tags along with them sometimes.

General Gaming Discussion / Re: CUTSTUFF, Y U NO STAR FOX DISCUSSION

Glad you put in all that good music from the SNES StahFawx, but I've still got a track from that game that's held more dear to me than the rest of those, especially since the boss you fought to the music was kinda cool. There was even a professor in that machine you fought, maybe.

I also happened to play Star Fox Assault a lot with my friends years ago. One time my friend and I played a sniper battle on the Corneria map, but to prevent screenlooking, we taped a big piece of cardboard on our split screen line. Battles were a lot more fun thanks to it.

Star Fox Assault was really short and kinda wonky compared to 64, especially since they seemed to focus a lot more on the on-foot shooting rather than the Arwings and Landmasters, but it had some of the coolest stuff of the series. The Landmaster had become a structural/aesthetic mess of a wrecking machine (Which was amazing), and the strategically idiotic wing riding segments gave us the plasma cannon, Fox's Deus Ex unlimited ammo gun.

Assault did have the dumbest Star Wolf battle ever though, in stage 3.

While you are rad for keeping alive the greatness of Top Man, I feel much shame for losing recognition AS Top Man!

From now on...I will be Shade Man!

Shade's pretty neat, but don't you go abandoning Top Man yet! I always see you more as Top Man than I ever could be, and you're even in the credits RIDING Top Man! I can't do that, I get dizzy(?!)

People are associating me with the Splash Woman skin, that's funny. Okay, yeah, back in like November last year I had all those names (Splash Cooties/Hentais/etc) but wow, people remember that, awesome!

M-m-m-my list is:

Top Man- Press Start
Toad Man -Brotoad
Snake Man - Fupoo

I knew before I started maining him Press Start was the Top Man of this game, and I wanted to keep Top Man going in the game amidst every custom skin ever. He's a pretty cool robot ya know!

Anything Goes / Re: Shmeckie's Art Thrizzle!

I took some time to try and look you up, because I was reaaaaaaaaaaaaly unsure if anyone else on the internet was Shmeckie. A few minutes of searching helped me confirm my suspicions. Not only do I appreciate your pencil work and your goes at inking, I happen to be a fan of your Project A.F.T.E.R. writings. I've been following that great little slice of bad anime fanfiction mockery for a while now, and the writing you contribute to that site along with Alex Barry and others is really keen.

I just finished this Kirby fanart I was working on. I've recently been trying to figure out good way to work on drawings in Photoshop, and now I found working in a higher resolution is nice. I feel pretty neat about it.

I like the idea of this thread very much. It's really keen to see different people drawing here, even some making attempts to improve (Keep at it Reboot!)

This page has been nothing but sprites for a bit, so i'll take advantage of this and change it up a bit, showing some stuff and pitching an idea. The two drawings in the spoiler below this were spawned after creating an eel thing in this strange eel generator webpage, where you pick the eye style, mouth, colours, and pattern of an eel, then try to make a human version of it. If any of you feel like something quick to play around with while drawing, try making your own eel and making a human out of it.

And now my eel humans:

I also do more fanart than a normal person should. I like drawing stuff like Persona 4 and River City Ransom. Sometimes together.

Sometimes I also draw things for people, and on occasion that people is Fupoo. Here's an old 4-koma I did for his birthday last year.

This vehicle, this vehicle right here. The Bulk Star was all class when you played City Trial. No one was gonna bring you down anytime soon if you powered up in the slightest, and it's the only vehicle to outfly the Dragoon (not vertically though).

I love every one of the awkward vehicles in Air Ride, namely this, Rex Wheelie, Wagon Star (No boosting, but it was still a great vehicle), and Formula Star.

I like that for some reason most of the music from Kirby's Air Ride comes straight from Kirby's anime. Just watch a subbed episode and you'll hear most of the tracks from Kirby's Air Ride. Also if we're pitching our favorite Air Ride music, I happen to like this one here:

Changing to other Kirby stuff, Return to Dream Land. Who has it, and who's enjoying it, because I've never really felt happier with a Kirby game since my time in Grade 2 trying to beat Kirby Super Star. The multiplayer is wonderful, and I also happen to like the revival of the food sharing system. Almost every copy ability seemed to get a really cool upgrade as well.

Stone for one. The stone can now grow even bigger, and you even get a stone uppercut punch. There's also all the new stone forms. Dunno if showing the stone forms would be a spoiler to anyone, so don't click below unless you don't care about seeing the forms for yourself.

General Gaming Discussion / Re: Sonic the hedgehog discussion topic
« on: November 05, 2011, 05:10:37 AM »
I dunno how to begin anything in this topic, so I'll just say I happen to be partial to the original Sonic the Hedgehog game on the Game Gear over the Sega Genesis version. It felt like a much more comfortable game to me than the Sega Genesis version. Also the Game Gear music seems to be pretty cool, I dunno.

I'm not really partial to a lot of stuff Sonic Team produces, but I am enough of a fan of old Sonic to own this figurine here.
