I rarely go by Action Bastard anymore. I mean, I still AM, but I like my Chie name, and my latest name: Galactic Destroyer Donkey Kong.

This is rather silly in my opinion. It's just a skin. That some player the community dub as good/best happen to use. If you get a bunch of bad players to use Roll as well. This whole argument would become void.

Ivory, this is exactly what I was trying to establish in my post a few minutes ago. Since we only have decent players playing as Roll at the moment, we need a bunch of random bad players like me and everyone else who is interested in just dicking around to screw with the theorem we've apparently created. Afterwards, the argument will be null, and we can just go back to having fun and not have this idea around anymore.

Ashley can't do this because she's not Rad Chad, while I myself happen to be Rad Chad, to the max.

Also I like comparing this topic to Mario Kart, because it's absolutely unnecessary. People choose Funky Kong because of an utterly minuscule stat boost he has(?), and because of that, everyone who can be considered a Mario Kart pro just ends up using him. The same thing can be said here. Maybe Roll has a boost rating of 4 that I'm unaware of as well?!

I'm entirely for fun, and I never claimed Roll was only for the good players.
I'm just saying it seems that way as of the time of these posts.

The trend will die out soon enough. Everyone knows that.

Hi, I'm just dicking around here, really. I was never trying to start an argument myself. I'm just screwing around with this topic is all. Thing is, there's some obvious truth. The only time I've seen people use Roll is when the person playing as Roll has been someone of decent skill. It's not often you see someone poor playing as Roll, except that one time you called me out for using Roll yesterday, but that was all in good fun.

And of course, this is all the same as the Bass trend established earlier in the topic. The game's only been officially released for 3 months or so now, so we'll obviously see some trend changes eventually.

I never said I liked Bass. I actually dislike him a lot. typical emo/"bad" antihero. bleh.
He's just the skin that everyone used, is all.

That's because people still like Shadow the Hedgehog for some fucked up reason.

Hearing this is like playing any Nintendo game competitively. You see someone in Pokemon with a team coming from that OU tier, you know they're going to be annoying. You see someone playing Mario Kart Wii as Funky Kong on the Flame Runner or Daisy on the Mach Bike, you know they're competitive. You go to a convention and play Smash Bros, EVERYONE is Meta Knight.

I just loved hearing that little "You should be good if you want to play as Roll". I'm the furthest thing from a good player, so maybe I'll just start maining Roll now that I'm using skins that came with the game again. If we're really so into this theory of Roll players being good, then maybe we need the Roll who gets up on the table and spikes the punch bowl.

While everyone watches her do it, and she laughs.

My second vote will be one that should be remembered, because when he comes back, he'll defeat EVERYONE. The currently unlisted Huegmanhueg.

Fuckwin here. I'm totally on the Majora > Ocarina bandwagon. I mean, Majora had an alien invasion man. Aliens! In my Zelda!

Back to Pokemon, 5th gen is already cool because of the fuckwin Pokemon Zuruzukin. Rebellious, mohawk, dark/fighting, baggy pants lizard is gonna wreck up everyone's shit. He's totally going onto my team, along with Murando.

2nd gen held the best Pokemon memories to me, because it was back when I started to finally learn how to actually play the damned game well. I learned that I'd be in deep crap if all I did was raise my starter Pokemon, I actually killed the major legendary of the game and saved afterwards, I wasn't able to cheat anymore, and I had to learn how to battle well enough to win for once. Also it had Elekid, and Smeargle, oh, and Zap Cannon was a TM. I miss when Zap Cannon was a TM. You could teach it to Flareon for gods sake, that was so cool! Being able to teach a fire type a destructive electric attack.

I'll admit some designs pissed me off in 4th gen, but I grew to like most of the evolutions that came out. I actually like Electivire now, now that the idea of an Electric Sasquatch sounds really cool to me. Rhyperior and Mismagius are team members of mine now and I grew to really like they're designs. Gallade was the first 4th gen guy I liked, really, and Probopass is just wonderful. Also Rampardos was a good fossil Pokemon.

Oh, and I almost forgot this...

As long as it isn't a tranny, I might add.

I still keep the Action Bastard portion of my name, but it seems these days I'm always some kind of "Splash _______" name, like "Splash Cooties", or "Splash Hentai", or "Splash Demoman", or whatever the hell i can fit in 7 letters.

Maybe I should stop being Splash Woman for a bit. I gotta start using the robot masters that matter. The ones EVERYONE can see.

Kind of a shame that people that just choose who they like in Pokemon are a dying breed. My team is based in part on who I like, and my feelings towards the competitive Pokemon world as a whole, hence why Mr. Champion of the Universe, Wobbuffet, is on my team.

Lots of people have told me to evolve my Elekid, but I can't bear to do that. That Elekid has been a part of my Pokemon teams for over 2 years now, and over that time it's been one of my best allies in game. Recently another friend of mine has said the same thing about my Meowth, but Meowth seems to be falling under the same category as Elekid. He's got a hell of a Fake Out.
